Love it. The best Talking Watches are with the collectors who are in really deep. Hype watches have their place too, but collections like this allow the community to learn about rare pieces that we are unlikely to hear about anywhere else.
One of the most beautiful episodes of Talking Watches. Each watch amazing , such a gentleman, beautiful conversation. One of the quickest thirty mins ever spent.
That Bulova is much closer to a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Its bezel is literally an exact clone. I can see the similarities to a Baltic Aquascaphe, but their lineage all leads back to the OG, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.
Woah, mind-blowing seriously, the Bulova prototype got me to think about why I have this time piece in my collection, I have always wanted one since I hard the story behind this time peace, such cool collection thanks again Victor..until next time all away from st George Utah.... I would love to have the swiss version.. the would complete my obsession..
To have those beautiful Longines in a collection like this shows the brands significance to the history of watchmaking. I hope that someday Swatch group allows longines to move up in their portfolio. looking at what they can do with the price points they need to meet, I can only imagine what they could do if the leash was loosened a little bit.
Great episode. Wrist check got deleted? I saw Adams watch on the table at the end, but you didnt talk about it for some reason, or did it get edited out? :)
Quality over Quantity, after studying other collector videos, it is also the guest that plays a large role in the story telling. Even if I had the same watches, I and so many others would do a terrible job. I'd say once a month or else, it will be over load, loss of interest as well as lower quality of guests
Grey market prices going down, Universal Genève is reborn, 34-37mm watches are coming back, hodinkee is healing now that Ben’s ceo again. This shit is looking beautiful for the watch community. (The Cubitus is still ass tho)
I love Hodinkee, I love Talking Watches, I do not like when Mark hosts since he puts me to sleep and seems disengaged. Albeit, he's a good person and great writer, so I don't want to be mean/critical. Its just how I feel though since I want the best for TW.

well said!
💯 definitely a collect to respect
Echo this
now THIS!!! is what talking watches should be. No prententiousness, no celebrity, just knowledge and great vintage taste.
This is just about the definition of pretentious..
I'd love to see more vintage collections showcased. So many interesting surprises and, as he would say, 'painfully beautiful' watches.
This is it Hodinkee. Keep bringing this type of content.
This gives me old talking watches vibes. I’m here for it.
Nice to listen to a genuine watch collector and see some fabulous watches.
Hodinkee redeeming itself instantly
One of the most beautiful episodes of Talking Watches. Each watch amazing , such a gentleman, beautiful conversation. One of the quickest thirty mins ever spent.
This is the best Talking Watches that y'all have done in a very long time. Glad to get the old Hodinkee feel back.
The best Talking Watches in ages ! Good to see it's back on track !
That 13ZN is stunning. Longines is still very underrated by most collectors
This is the content I love watching from Hodinkee. Super cool collection and stories. Keep bringing these videos.
This was the most interesting collection in years!!Well done Hodinkee!Back to the great old day👍🏻
Exactly the sort of content that made Hodinkee. Good to see it back. Hope it's not a once off.
This is it … this is brilliant.. this is what we want to see more of
Classy, humble, and likeable man with a one of a kind collection. Wow!
Brilliant episode and wonderful collection. The best in years.
One of the best Talking Watches ep.
Congrats
Best taking watches in a long time. This guest oozes passion and knowledge
What a boss. Not one Rolex mentioned ❤
Pure class.
“I think the holy grail is something I haven’t seen yet” nailed it, Adam. Keeping that openness leads to infinite roads.
Finally!!!! An interesting video..... Not the crap we were getting used to.....amazing video, amazing watches, amazing stories
Beautiful taste in watches! Thank you for sharing your collection
Brilliant stuff. Thank you Mark and Adam.
Such a refreshing episode. Didnt expect the RM though!
One of the best episodes every. Very diverse and interesting collection.
That bulova is like an OG Baltic Aquascaphe. Magnificent
That Bulova is much closer to a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Its bezel is literally an exact clone. I can see the similarities to a Baltic Aquascaphe, but their lineage all leads back to the OG, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.
Hodinkee back to its very best
Very interesting vintage watches, and great knowledge. This is why I am here.
Beautiful collection
The sun and moon at the 12pm and 12am on the Agassil pocket watch is gorgeous touch. This guys taste in watches is incredible
A fantastic episode, really enjoyed this one!!
They didn’t talk about the tank on his wrist 🥲
Anybody know what it is ?
Vintage Santos ?
It disappears at about 30:33 😅
Amazing taste! One of the best episode!👍
Loved all the stories. Very cool. Especially his RM discovery story.
Woah, mind-blowing seriously, the Bulova prototype got me to think about why I have this time piece in my collection, I have always wanted one since I hard the story behind this time peace, such cool collection thanks again Victor..until next time all away from st George Utah.... Outstanding! AP worldtime is the one for me. Or maybe the Longines. Or maybe the Patek. Or maybe the gold VC. Wow. 😁
Great video - love the collection and stories!

:)
Mark's pocket watch agenda strikes again! 😍
the most interesting collection I have ever seen🎉
They missed the lovely Cartier on his wrist. What a great show!
Great episode. He didn’t talk about the watch on his wrist. Any idea?
looks like a very old cartier santos
How many of those Bulova are out there? Is this the guy who helped bring the recent version to market?
wow, what a collection!
Great content, thanks guys
This is like one of those great episodes of talking watches where every pice blows the air from my lungs
Very appropriate that his grail is something that he hasn’t found or knows if it really exists
This made me happy
Great collection great collector
5:58 - Baltic did a very nice version of this, or they derived influence. Either way, beautiful.
Who’s the one buying all the AP Chronographs? Also - curious on who made the shirt Adam’s wearing. Haha
Was wondering that as well…both! Haha🤣👊🏼
One of the best talking watches..
Those Longines are stunning.
Amazing!
The 29 ½ really interested me. Why was it not just 30 18:29
What’s that reverso though, they didn’t show it
This is the reason why i watch talking watches. Not the 13 in a dozen rolex collections
Some cool century old Audemars Piguets there.
Good classical TW. What watch is he wearing ?
Great talking watches
Amazing collector, very cool and unusual collection, and overall just a really enjoyable episode 👍
This guy gets it.
Great job Hodinkee, love this!
Loved this all throughout the episode!!
Idk why Hodinkee doesn’t release these weekly…it’s literally that easy. It’s the only video content they put out now that is continually a hit.
Quality over Quantity, after studying other collector videos, it is also the guest that plays a large role in the story telling. Even if I had the same watches, I and so many others would do a terrible job. I'd say once a month or else, it will be over load, loss of interest as well as lower quality of guests
@@Joe-xo3xygreat, under appreciated points
Because it’s literally NOT that easy
@ Theres channels that do that all the time. Stop being an apologist.
Lovely collection, but more importantly, a beautiful human being and collector 🤍⌚️🙏
Grey market prices going down, Universal Genève is reborn, 34-37mm watches are coming back, hodinkee is healing now that Ben’s ceo again. This shit is looking beautiful for the watch community. (The Cubitus is still ass tho)
I wish he mentioned the watch on his wrist..unless I missed it
Why did they cut the one he was wearing tho
What is he wearing? Does anybody know?
Wow! What a beautiful collection
Really wished to see in detail that watch Adam's wearing. Not asking about it or talking about it here is a bit mean to us viewers. Hahaha!
First!
REALLY good video!
ah, very interesting.
Great video.
Great episode
Let's face it, these watches are a gazillion times nicer than the pieces owned by Ed Sheeran and John Mayer
Chambray ftw
Really great - nice job
what does "collector and dealer" mean? promoting his stock? lol...
really interesting !
Double denim
570 breguet might be the most beautiful watch of all time. Wish it was a tad bigger though
Who gets an actual Gold watch from a "friend" in high school?
I want that friend too 😅
That’s more like it
I love Hodinkee, I love Talking Watches, I do not like when Mark hosts since he puts me to sleep and seems disengaged. Albeit, he's a good person and great writer, so I don't want to be mean/critical. Its just how I feel though since I want the best for TW.
Mark is very engaged in this interview and did a fine job
Great watches. The interviewer looks so disinterested. 😬
Hmmmm...i found them boringly boring old watches... i like the Bulova ❤
I wear 42mm minimum so vintage is almost completely not for me. This guy must be no more than 5'8” to wear any of them.
More like 37 million pounds. I'm not british or smart but could tell he was way off when he said 36k pounds was 3 billion
I just don’t see the value in a Richard Mille watch
I love Vacheron Constantin
Provenance is dumb
You don’t appreciate a good story?
@ just a fancy way to flex in my opinion
@@landonkutschkau170you must be young, nothing here is about “flexing”. That’s okay, lots of runway left for you to study and think otherwise.
Beautiful classy collection, but the RM completely ruined 😢
shut up loser.
"Quite like new" for online Vintage sellers actualy means: It's bashed, scratched and dull, but "for it's age" it's "nearly new".
