He brings back a sort of nostalgic feeling of something buried, Eden is honestly so brilliant and amazing, I can’t be more grateful to listen to his music

Here’s my little analysis of the video:
The plane is traveling this huge distance, carried by the truck - that’s us. People who are simply being carried by the rush of everyday life. We see all these people doing such amazing things but we don’t go out and try to do the same. We’re stuck, phones to the sky, wondering why we’re not famous or happy or like all those people who are making the most of their lives. Well, it’s not going to just be given to us - we have to earn it ourselves. I think that’s the message EDEN is giving us.
Because if we don’t, at the end of our journey, we’ll be just like that plane. Into the landfill with everyone else who never made an impact.
Of course, that’s just my two cents ^^; don’t take it too seriously

I had a phase where I couldn't listen to Eden anymore bcos it reminded me of someone I wanted to forget.. Now that I have come to terms of what happened, I know deep down that I was glad to have known Eden, and that it's okay to love Eden unconditionally even though it reminded me of him, but eventually, Eden is here with me, and it's okay
God, I relate to the visuals here. I don't even know how to explain it. Like there used to be some kind of freedom, something limitless and beautiful. Like I owned the sky and now I'm at my lowest low, all I want is to go home, and yet I can't shake the feeling it's the end of the line. What happened to the stars and the place where they shined? Always above, higher than I ever was, further out of reach, like the end of some dream when I can't remember who I am or who I've ever been. All I remember is the wind and the wings that used to ride it now are scars on my back with no cloth to hide it and the world to see. There's no one killing me but gravity and time, but all it takes is work and a bit of hope to fly. I just need someone to try. Don't let me die. Don't let me die.

I use to listen to a bunch of EDEN's song back when he was still under TheEdenProject. I kinda stopped listening to his work throughout high school, but now I have began to come back to his music. EDEN, ur work is truly inspirational, and I am happy to be back and hope to see more great work.
I seen him when he was still the eden project, following him as his sound evolved has actually been amazing

I love the plane metaphor. We all wanna fly but don't have wings. I've been following his music since he first started actually singing and not just making beats. You've progresses so much and have chamged my perspective going trough some really hard times. Thank u so much

for me the video symbolizes a broken plane that wants to fly one last time but unfortunately it wasn't meant to
what makes me feel this way is the climax starting at 2:52. We see the control thingy being pulled which would make a plane go higher and then there comes the shot at 3:04 in which the plain trembles and it seems like it struggles fights and trys to take off, with the shot of the sky right after showing where it wants to go.
We dont see the plain for a few shots making us question wether it did manage to fly away one last time;
but then we see it still being there getting carried to the landfill
during all this the music is also always following the story it is building up till the climax in a sad but soft way until it reaches the climax where its filled with a peaceful angelic sound which make you feel like the plain might've done it but then it switches to a sad ending which becomes gradually sadder as the plain reaches closer to the landfill
the song itself is already one of the saddest songs I know but the music video kinda rips my heart out in a massive yet subtle way its a sad story about things that just aren't meant to happen no matter how hard we try and that's what makes it so sad there is no more hope it is a story which is genuinely sad
we all love a happy end but not everything ends in happy ends its important to remember that and let ourselves feel the sadness connected to these types of situations
one could even interpret the songtitle into that story by looking at it this way:
love death distraction in a sense that first comes the wish (love) then the death of said wish (death) and what it leaves us with is no happy end no its getting better but only sadness which we will need to distract us from because there's nothing more we can do (distraction)
of course this is all one way of interpretation from a fellow listener it may very well be all wrong haha
(in the pretty unrealistic case that you see this Jonathan I love you more than you know)

It's kind of weird. This song resonates with me a lot because I can relate it to my late uncle who passed away the day before this was uploaded (6th of December 2019), he could be seen as the plane in the video; he was a great guy to talk to, a hard worker, he enjoyed what he did, and lived life to the fullest, he soared high during his prime days. But he was also a VERY heavy smoker, once he caught emphysema he was like a plane without wings, his health nosedived into the ground. He would literally walk 20 meters and it would be as if he ran a marathon as an asthmatic.
I really love the direction hes taking this new album, its never too different from himself but never the same as before

The last segment of this masterpiece is my favourite when he is singing 'please don't go, drifter'. It's super relaxing especially with headphones on at early hours in the morning and just that 1 line being repeated brings delivers a huge connection at least in my eyes, it reminds me of those moments you have that u don't want to leave or having too say goodbye to loved 1 over the phone.
Every time Eden uploads, the world becomes a little bit happier.
Somehow i feel like Jon understands more about life than most of us. And his songs seem like the reflection of his Experiences and growth.

It is so great to see Eden with the popularity he have been getting lately, he very much deserved it, but i never wanted like a lot of people to know about him, only the ones who really understood his music
My interpretation of the video: we are all planes without wings. Meant for a purpose but seemingly paralyzed from completing it. Hoping for an auspicious bringing on the horizon. And as the truck picks up the plane and carries it, all of a sudden the planes moving. If the plane had thoughts he’d be thinking “I’m moving I’m moving” finally something’s happening! I can see it! Finally an auspicious beginning. But the plane doesn’t know where it’s going. It doesn’t know how or what’s happening. But it’s finally doing what it longed to do for so long. Hopeful and excited he waits to see where it will go. But after trusting and letting go. After finding happiness in the bliss of the moment. Finally moving. In the end it’s taken to the dump, only to be dropped off there.
To me that’s our lives, we are all planes without wings. Meant to fly but never able to take off. And at some point we see movement. We see hopeful futures. Wondering how the hell did we get here? Moving? When it seemed impossible. Thinking, how do we maintain this?? But we were never in control, the truck picked us up and moved us. And instead of choosing fear and doubt that we will never fly. This won’t last. We are broken, we don’t have wings. Instead of fear we chose hope. But I’ve been let down. Taken to the dump. My insecurities only seemingly reaffirmed. My fears, real.
I hate how auspicious beginnings let you down more than anything else in this life. No matter how real it was that you were moving. You were naive in hoping. You could never see the bigger picture. You were never in the driver seat.....
This is depressing I know, this is just my interpretation of the video. It’s sad but so damn real and poetic. I fell for a girl. We both knew it was more than just a “thing”. But she wasn’t ready, she’d been hurt to many times before to jump back into love. So I waited. I waited so long. Praying everyday about her. Knowing God made this happen. Hoping that by giving her the space she needed she’s eventually be ready. But when I came back she had forgotten me and started dating someone else. She left me in a waiting room. Eden is really special to me, as he is to most of his real fans. His voice has a way of digging its way into your mind and stays there to spread a positive attitude. He takes up most of the problems people face in this world; depression, anxiety, self consciousness. These songs have some sort of healing effect, for example by simply listening to Eden my mood goes from sad to extremely happy. Hes helped me through some dark times in my life and convinced me to keep going. My life couldn't be going better at the moment, and i wouldn't have had that opportunity if it wasn't for Eden.
Eden is such a hidden gem, finding his music is like finding a really sad treasure chest :'(

I really like how Eden pushes the boundaries with his music. It’s unique, it’s different, and it’s a completely special experience. Easily one of my favorite artists of all time and deserves more recognition. Never heard a song I didn’t enjoy

I think the song is about Jon telling someone they love or care for not to go wander away and continue with self-destructing activities; like the lyric "Please don't go, drifter...." he's telling the drifter (the plane) not to drift away because it will be their demise and as we know drifting away in a plane can be very dangerous as you may fly right into buildings or crash land. And at the end the plane is brought to the dump where all the pollution (other lost souls) gather themselves.
Each video makes me wanna just go to a place far from cities, adventuring nature, sit on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, all while listening to EDEN songs
