a lot of his songs feel like they follow a plot, they have calm beginnings, the exposition of the ideas, and ever so slowly it builds up when those ideas are expanded upon, some ideas might even clash together in conflict, and then, the climax, a culmination of everything that came before, and finally a resolution. all ideas have been realized, everything has been said, we know more now with what we have heard, and now all that's left is for us to acknowledge these ideas and experiences so that we, and jon himself, change, even just by a small amount.

The day I discovered this man's music was the beginning of the worst chapter of my life. He speaks to me in ways that no other artist could even begin to contend. It's as if he is sitting around every curve and over every hill speaking to me as I make the mistakes and drift farther away from reality and my self. Anyone that has suffered being lost alone homeless and strung out on drugs his words have helped me heal and realize my mistakes realize that my personal downfalls and failures aren't what defines me. He saved my life truly saved me from my own self destruction before it was to late. Thank you Jonathan you hold a very special place in my heart. You're truly amazing

Anyone else feel like this song as well as Take Care is directed at us EDEN fans? Lyrics like you don’t care if I’m still bleedin’ you just scream until you hear my name sound very much like us fans would do at a live event of his and wouldn’t care about how he truly felt because we only cared about the performance we feel he owes us. Like this song is the manifestation of what he says in his 365x series about losing himself while he was on tour because he was doing everything for the fans and not taking time to care for his own well being. Like I love this song. It’s epic and powerful, but also I feel bad about wanting to cheer because I just want to make sure EDEN takes care of himself and doesn’t feel like he’s dying while we just cheer (so this is how I die now, hands to the air, no they can’t stop the sky falling down).
This is a good interpretation of the lyrics but however I feel that eden's fan base is way more different than other fan bases. I feel that his fan base is a collection of loving people who actually understand his music and him rather than people who just enjoy the music.

god the intensity at some points of this song is biblical. especially right before the bridge “and not break it into nothing” the droning lead getting louder and louder is just god tier production. that’s intentionally done to overwhelm the sonic palette and induce a sort of anxiety to the listener as well as create emphasis on the lyrics

Icarus was trying to fly to the Sun, with the wings made by feathers and wax. The wax melted by the heat when he was close to the Sun. At the end, Icarus fell from the sky, the feathers scattered around.
The worst part about finishing listening to his newest albums are that when they end, you'll have to wait ages for a new album. Though repeat buttons exist to keep be going. Seriously his music has kept me from doing stupid things when Im depressed. He helped me relax when all I could do was sit in bed, shaking, without words to come. Silence is all I hear. But then I put on EDEN and my life comes back.
