Im not into this kind of stuff but i really considered going bc i love pedro pascal and hear he may be there for fan 4….but then i hear u have to camp outside all night to get a spot in the exhibit hall :/
What is happening outside convention? And what are lodging prices like? Someone told me there is gouging and its outrageous everywhere near there.

@@laurenbendik2006 There are quite a few things to do outside the convention center too. Some of them require badges, but not all. Comic-con had outgrown the convention center and has been spilling over into the neighboring hotels, businesses, and outdoor areas for years. Some of those outside events require badges, but many don't. It varies from year to year. (this post was made on October 5, 2024, in case someone is reading this years into the future).

Is it just me or does this years Comic Con seem so much more chill? People actually look like they are enjoying themselves and having a good time.
It does seem more chill. It’s also busier than I’ve ever seen.
This was recorded on preview night. Preview night is always more chill. If you are referring to the regular convention days, things really scaled down after covid. It still hasn't quite recovered to 2019 levels, but it was closer this year (2024) than it has been in a while.
