Cubs Prospect Kohl Franklin Never Takes a Day for Granted After Overcoming Injury | On Deck

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Kohl Franklin was drafted in the sixth round of the 2018 MLB draft out of Broken Arrow High School. He has spent the entirety of his Minor league career with the Chicago Cubs, starting in the Arizona Complex League and working his way up to the AA affiliate Tennessee Smokies last season. He ended his 2023 campaign with 116 strikeouts in 105 innings pitched and was a member of the Smokies 2023 Southern League Championship team.

I wish Kohl the best. The Cubs will need a lot of help next season, although I am sure he won't be on the roster opening day.
