In this video we look closely at a warmup drill we use for the offense. This is a shooting drill that gets a lot of players moving and trains some of the fundamentals we want to see within the offense.

Coach - thanks for your videos. Question: In these drills you seem to teach a jumpstop into the downscreen. In your other videos (and other versions of this style offense) we often see a simple butt cut off a rub cut (not a proper down screen). Which do you teach? Has your thinking changed over the years on this?

I believe its a butt cut for first player and then more of a jump stop for 2nd guy making the cut to top of 3.

Doesn’t hurt… I would flip flop it from day to day, not within the same practice sessions
