How quickly do you think Girls HS Varsity could pick this up. First game is in about 10-12 days. Just came across this and it may be good for my team as we are very small, mostly guards. Can part of this be implemented to start and more added on as season goes on. ?
The basic action (down screen, butt cut, long cut) is very simple… adding different cuts takes some time to perfect. If you keep them cutting hard, the offense will work even if they aren’t making a variety of cuts or making great reads early on
Coach what are your options when defense goes under the screen?
The “L-Cut” to the top of the key works really well
Order now! My offense has never looked so good!
Man, a coach of the year commenting on my stuff 🤩
@@MattHackenberg I just followed your recipes!
@@gturcott1 did you use any other continuity offense or was this enough to install?
@@davidbartsch255 I used this and some continuous on ball but this is great
If I bought this a year ago can I still get the implementation plan? Thanks, Coach!
Yup, email me - matth@hackenberg.biz
I bought the download, hadn’t had time to sit down and study it, will have time soon
Awesome man!! Email me if you have questions going through it!
Let me know if you would like to hop on a zoom and discuss some of these actions. I got the download as well.
Would this be to complicated for a 3rd/4th girls team
The butt cuts will be effective but they will struggle to throw the passes into the interior with pace/timing. I’d recommend a simple 5 out pass and cut at that age
@Matt Hackenberg I saw some of your youth videos would that be helpful? I'm a big fan of positionless basketball
@@jqmoney5878 yes there’s a playlist of youth stuff recommend for 8th and below
I’ve implemented this with 7th/8th grade teams. You need good passers/playmakers and took time to build the reads.
Is this effective against zones (2-3 and 1-3-1)?
I’ve used it some vs zone but mostly used zone specific concepts against zone… Because I have a lot of those I like. Would mostly recommend it against 3-2 zone more than 2-3 or 1-3-1
