      💯% agree !
      Even though I have a boat , I still like to stalk the flats - I can wade where no boat can go !

      @@ianbertenshaw4350 Spot on... you can access some pretty shallow, isolated and productive water... it's pretty chilled and a good option when the weather is average too. Hope you're getting stuck into a few. Cheers, Justin

      Hey @markgorham7344, noted and hopefully plenty more land based stuff to come. There are plenty of fish out there to be caught land based, which has been proven by keen land based anglers like Cameron Cronin, so we hope you are connecting to some quality fish soon from the bank. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    The thing I got most out of this video is bringing it with the flow. Thanks

      Hey @yep.ultralight, you don't always have to bring the lure back with the flow, but when you can it presents more naturally and generally gets the bites. Hope you're hooked up soon. Cheers, Justin

      Hey @lesfredericks4232, we just happened to rock up and the tide looked okay but was dropping fast, so we thought we would have a quick flick there. The sand was running out of the hour glass but we felt like there should be a decent one there and were stoked when it ate. Good times. Thanks for the kind words and all the best with the fishing. Interesting comment on the flow - do you find the flattys sit with their heads up or downstream and do you think it makes a difference? 🤙

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey @pacman5590, I will fish across current, up and down current, however I have found that the stronger the flow, the more I prefer to fish naturally back with the flow. This allows you to keep the plastic in the strike zone more effectively, drive it more effectively and the flathead will generally tuck into current breaks around deeper sections, structure, points, weed patches, etc., ambushing prey that moves past with the flow. Mix it up when you fish, but keep in mind what key structure is available in the area, how it might impact the water flow and in turn where the fish may be sitting an ambush. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    Awesome video Justin ! I’m looking forward to trying your sling bag ! I have one from another manufacturer- starts with D . Anyhow it was a pain to use , not big enough and when I was fishing it always seemed that what I wanted was out of reach and it was too small to be of any use . The TT one looks like it has been well thought out and watching this video it seems like it can be set up so everything is at hand and within reach with minimal movement of the bag .

      Hey @ianbertenshaw4350, thanks for the kind words on the vid. We designed the Tackle Sling Bag based on frustrations with the current options available, so hopefully we have made this one a bit more functional and user friendly. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

      Hey @user-tb3tb8ih7c, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. Grab a TT Vortex spinnerbait - compact frame and quality components, a 2.5" Slim SwimZ on a 1/0 TT HeadlockZ jighead and a TT Jig Spinner to attach for added flash and vibration. That should get you hooked up to a few in no time. Fish on! Cheers, Justin

    Wondering what brand of sunnies your sporting champ

    • @tackletacticstv7687
      @tackletacticstv7687  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey @MarkOzFishNSW, I have worn Mako sunnies for about 25 years, but have unfortunately stepped on my last two pairs, so running a pair of backup Tonic sunnies at the moment. Most of the big name brands will do the job and they need to meet Australian standards... important to find some that fit your head, with lenses that suit the fishing that you do. Time for some new Makos for me... and a strap to hang them around my neck. ;) All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

    That’s a lot of gear. I take a Daiwa Satchel that sits between my shoulder blades with a tiny tackle box (5 jig head, 5 plastics, 1 surface lure, 1 vibe and 1 shallow running hardbody), scent, pliers, scissors and leader. Nothing else. Keep it small and light when you are wading the flats.

      Hey @mudgut69, good to hear you're getting out and wading the flats. Sounds like we're running a similar amount of gear and I guess it comes down to the duration of the session, potential species that may be encountered and so forth.
