Oh, you know, most of the time, there is only a single amp (or two if you play in stereo) running and you take two of the EL34s out to reduce it to 50W, then your best choice is to have only the two upper speakers connected in the 4x12 and get rid of the two lower ones or use 'em as passive speakers, so you get a bass-reflex cab: the internal volume of a 4x12" won't give you the at least 45L needed per 12" speaker... To give you a little idea, I own a Marshall EL34-100/100 (2x100W, JCM900 poweramps), with only two 1x12 loaded with the Electrovoice speakers, it's so loud you won't mike your speakers in the PA for a venue of 1000-1500 !!!! Actually, I didn't bought this amp for my guitar but to mount a bridge system and have a monophonic 200W for my bass, using the Ampeg SVP-Pro preamp. Actually, as a guitar amp, I tend to use the Marshall EL84-20/20 with the two EV 1x12"s and my habitual Mesa Boogie Triaxis preamp: it's already too loud for clubs with 250ppl or for most of stages... If I had to do really large stage, the Marshall 9005 (2x50W from the JCM800 series) would be more than enough, you know, your best interest is not to become deaf! When Gilmour did Earl's Court (19,000 venue) in 1974, he used 10x 100W HiWatt amps with 20 4x12"s and he wasn't miked into the PA (!) and insanely loud... Back in the old days, PAs were utter crap, even the keyboards had their own amps... but there were not a lot of super-large venues and playing in stadiums was exceptional. A buddy of mine played at the Sonic-Sphere with his 22W Mesa Boogie combo, so did Mike Oldfield at the Wembley Stadium in 1983 for the Crisis tour... You should do a little pictures search for "fake Marshall wall" It's been decades since the cab walls are just stage props! Even at the 1983 US Festival, it was already the case! Mick Mars had just a 50W Marshall with a single 4x12, and so did the Judas Priest guys too! BTW, Metallica stoped to use real amps, so did The Edge (U2), Steve Howe (Yes) etc : they all use digital simulation (and sound like crap), it's more and more common to have soundless stages nowadays, with everybody playing with ear-monitoring. 90% of the audience hear no difference, unfortunately...

@harounel-poussah6936 he's my top 5
Michael freaking Schenker the best of the best
I'm happy to see that Michael finally let Ronnie do his talent on vocals and allowing him some front man leadership 👏
Ronnie kills it. He is excellent.
@@ValThor-g2c Yes he is!! ☝☝
excelente Ronny Romero, gran vocal, y es Chileno.......Gran grupo
Great band, Great musician that I love. Total genius Michael. Huge hug to the whole great band
Michael's tone is so distinctive. Too Hot to Handle was probably the first song I tried to play when that album came out.
Ronnie is the next best siren in rock era . He have what it takes an amazing voice
I agree, he is excellent. He is in the Phil Mogg/Coverdale style and range. He is new to me.
Michael is as brilliant as ever...that gorgeous phrasing. Ronnie Romero is great fit, especially on classic MSG tunes (sounds a bit like Gary Barden, but with a richer voice). IMHO, he suits the MSG sound much better than he did Rainbow...
I think Ronnie has more to work with here , Rainbow wasn’t really set up the way they should have been
@@donaldroberts7242 Ritchie decided to tour with his Blackmore's Night team...
They're great at doing folk but, for sure, there was something missing on the bass'n'drum side when it came to play hard-rock... It's a bit sad because Romero is one of the few that can really sing the Dio or the Turner stuff without falling appart...
One of my guitar heros.
EXCELLENT performance from all on board. THIS is how it's done! 👍👍 Superb singer!! Danke Schon for posting this ya! 😉
Schenker is playing Gibson Flyng V's again O.K. But I can't believe how many people are like, "Oh, his tone is so much better with those, etc. I want to say, WATCH THIS.. If he sounds this good with a Gibson, great. Bu so far I don't hear it, yet Rockpalast always has a better sound than fan-made club recordings. His performance here is A+ Been a fan since 74.
Ol tomer is still great after 50 years of playing
Que privilégio ver essa lenda viva e detonando como nunca, God of Metal!🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤
God of Heavy Rock
The man with the eternal joy of playing.
Just awesome. Grew up on UFO and played the grooves off the live LP Into the Night in college. Our band Arminius plays a lot of these tunes. Just spectacular.
Michael Schenker ROCKS!!!!
Still great!🤘🎸
Remember stumbling on these guys as a 13 Yr old back in 85...... Awesome 😎❤️🎶🎶
Excelente calidad de audio y video y con muy buenas bandas
Pretty damn good production/sound on these WDR RP videos. Would love to know the process.
Wdr and rockpalast have been doing it for many decades.its experience.always have great sound and video production.
Bof, no bass at all...
I've got my headset on and the bass sounds awesome along with the whole production. Michael playing well here for sure especially at his age! Just wow.
I love all of us aging rockers!!! ❤❤😄🤘
VON MEINEN FREUNDEN ,DIE MICHAEL VEREHRTEN...BIN ICH DER EINZIGE ÜBERLEBENDE..UND ICH BIN DER ÄLTESTE VON ALLEN MIT 60JAHREN...WE SEE US IN HEAVEN
Einfach gut wie immer
As Always, A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE 🎸☝🏼
HOLY SCHMOLY!! Schenker is haVing so much FUN! Ronnie Romero had shorter hair when he was in RAINBOW.
saw Michael Schenker in Cleavland at the Agora front row Great show he is Killing it !!!!!!!!!
I am thrilled to see virtuoso guitarist Michael Schenker still out and playing great. I never thought he would be the lone UFO musician left out on the road, considering his storied past.
❤❤❤ Ich liebe diese Band!!! Great!! 😂😂😂
