This two figures are dope. That she Hulk is probably one of my favorite Marvel figures and even when I don't know crap about ambush bug just the color alone is cool. All this bright colors make the shelf pop.
I love your channel and videos, Brother. I’m not a big Marvel guy, but I do enjoy your perspective on everything. I also thought that She Hulk head would make for a good JLA Wonder Woman swap and have been thinking about buying her just for the hair sculpt, but she is a nice figure overall. In fact, I scalped the previous She Hulk and transplanted her wig onto the Last Knight On Earth mohawk Wonder Woman and made a more modern comic book looking WW using the Shazam Gal Gadot. Keep on killing it on your videos and I’ll keep watching. I’d love to see more custom/kit bash videos from you. Keep having fun and take care.
I really enjoy your reviews. I agree fun looking figures. I recently got my Shulkie and love that figure. Ambush looks good too, but I limit my purchases on DC figs. I totally agree about needing the wrinkle in the fabric on her boots like her back side and mid chest area. Cheers!
Gains your positive toy attitude is great but I believe truths need to be revealed no matter the cost. And cost is what I’m talking about. She-Hulk has a high price tag but those mis-colored knees & elbows make her look like a cheap dollar store toy, Hasbro has to do better. I like how Toddy Mac is making deep cut characters but when I can’t find a classic Wonder Woman and if I did get one early it’s a high price of $30 ?! ..It’s hard to stay positive for too long. I bought both these figs also so I’m in on it as well, flaws & all. Note: The green colors on those two are not the only thing they share. She-Hulk is the true 1st Marvel character to break the 4th wall & speak to the reader. Ambush Bug was specifically written to do that all the time as well. Deadpool is late to that game. Being green & being seen is what they are all about.
That's awesome info. She-Hulk needed a movie. I honestly think Hasbro is cutting corners and using different plastics. Which is a shame because their head sculpts are really good. My thing is at the end of the day when you lose the figure and display them do they look good. And usually that's still the case. Also I argued with someone about Wonder Woman's production. I completely agree.
Nailed it with her boots! Was bothering me too, that something was off or didnt look good. She was irresistible not to buy, pops so nice. Keep the bugs outta my room please tho )
I’m with you bro if it ain’t fun, don’t do it !!! Don’t go bringing negative energy around something that’s supposed to give positive energy. And I love the she hulk figure . It was so nice , I had to grab it twice 😂 ✌🏽out
Enjoy your channel Gains and your honesty! You tell it like it is and I agree if you don’t like this hobby anymore or find more negative than positive, then quit. It’s as simple as that. Keep up the good work! ✌️
I´m a HUGE DC fan and even I didn´t know who Amush Bug was. I´ve learned of him from a lead figure I got as part of the DC Comics Eaglemoss Superhero Collection. They made use of him during The New 52. He was featured in the last pages of the comics doing recaps and making fun of what was going on. ...but even I didn´t know of that (cause I live in Spain and here they didn´t include those). He did appear on the last episode of Batman The Brave and the Bold. Anyone can look for it here. I don´t get why DC having their own "Deadpool"...with Ambush Bug having been created before...why they don´t make use of him. At all.
I couldn’t believe I found She-Hulk on the pegs at Target. Her extra hands are for holding the bent gun. You’re right about keeping it fun, I take breaks every once in a while to keep it fun.
I treat my clicks like money. If I don’t like a product (for whatever reason), I don’t spend my money and let that be my voice. Same for videos or social media; if I know I’m going to dislike the content (and you can pretty much always tell), I slip right by it. There’s more than enough media out there leaning good, bad or indifferent, so I scrutinize more. Always a learning process, but it’s led to better experiences and interactions for me personally.
I love the she-hawk as well I have one. I thought it was funny that you brought up painting her to look like Wonder woman cuz I have thought about that. But I'm not going to cuz I know how I am and probably will never finish it. I do have a question no jerk I believe the guy that was on the podcast he has a a toy store am I right
I never did like She Hulk. She reminds me of a DC female character -- created for teen boys to ogle and sell more comics and she's just a cheerleader/sidekick version of Hulk. The Marvel equivalent of Supergirl/Batgirl/Mary Marvel/Hawkgirl/Powergirl/Harley/etc...

Exactly Irv! Fun colors. Clean designs.

I bought two. Going to paint the head for the hell of it. Thanks for watching man.
Keep this up brother!
On it!!
Yeah! Excellent video Gains!
Thanks !
Great video Gains!
Thanks Skate!
I like this video, ya know, you just like what ya like, it’s not hard! Oh and I love that She Hulk, the pros outweigh the flaws. Glad I picked her up!

Did you paint that Superman head? Nice touch with the boxing gloves. Another great video gains 🤘🏽
I did not. Just added the gloves for him V Ali. And thanks!

No idea who ambush bug is but looks like a fun figure. I'll pick it up on sale for sure
Someone put a suit on him and he looks awesome.

lol I guess if I didn't lose it. But couldn't a regular gripping hand hold it?
@@Toygains I think it’s to make it look like her hands are tense when breaking the gun.

i'm getting that ambush bug and putting that head on a marvel legend body
Good idea
Great review and I don’t like McFarlane but think I want that green bug fucker! Sorry missed the live last night. Great show!
Lol I think that's his original name

The way she was introduced and written is plausible though. But yes sex sells.
Well that is the purpose of most female comic characters.a little sex appeal never hurt anyone
She was literally created so that Marvel would own the rights to a female hulk character in the event that CBS made a spinoff of the Hulk tv show.
