I wanna get this figure to make a custom Ambush Bug. Boil and pop the torso, head arms on the legs of the Sgt. Rock figure. Slap on the vest and punch some holes in the helmet.
Super awesome character and an even more awesome figure! Absolutely LOVE that headsculpt and love the Cheeks accessory! Never thought about his feet, but yeah, probably would've been a good idea to use the Plastic Man feet on him. Still he turned out really, really well. The thumbs up you made for him works so perfect for his character!
I never heard of him before the figure came out. Thanks for the character history. He sounds like someone can feel compassion for since he has some mental illness. Also, it’s inspiring that even though people have problems they can still do great things. Sort of like Professor x in x-men.
Bones... What do you think of using Ambush Bug (or maybe another figure like Flashpoint Superman that used the same body build) as the basis for a Silver Surfer figure? I wish he were a tad shorter, but if I got an MS Surfer head or a print of it, sand and epoxy away the neck color, maybe epoxy bigger trapezoid and fill in the foot instead and heel ridge, and of course paint him a hazy chrome. What "Surfer" type hands do you think would work with this? What do you think?
You can but I would change the feet and get rid of the head...maybe try Red Tornado head... Or buy a Captain Atom and switch the lower legs..he's already mostly silver...👍💀
When it comes to McFarlane and his obscure characters and costumes I am all for ambush bug just for the final episode of Batman the brave and the bold, but other than thay one episode he was in I know nothing about this character... now I need a batmite to go with him!

Now I am thinking of using an Animal Man figure to turn into the Silver Surfer...
