Hi Amaroth and thanks again for this tutorial :D
At the end of the video, you say that edited DBCs should be set in a MPQ in the "Data" folder.
But the original DBCs are in "Data/[locale]" folder. Therefore, shouldn't we put the newly created MPQ for DBCs in "Data/[locale]" folder too ?
Is it even possible and/or recommended to put custom MPQs in that folder ?

Steff often says that edited DBCs should be actually put into both Data and Locale folders. Firstyl, I don't know reason why one should do so. Secondly, I have never done that and yet I never encountered any problems whatsoever.
So, do you need to put DBCs into Locale? No. Is it better to do so? Perhaps, for reasons unclear to me. Can you put custom MPQs into Locale folder? I guess so, I have never actually done that myself. What I have done was putting up to date DBCs into Path-[locale]-3.mpq, but I do so only for extracting server side maps, as TC extractors are... shamefuly bad and unreliable in some regards.
Please, note that DBCs are locale-based. There are German DBCs, English DBCs, Russian DBCs... Thats why they are in Locale folder. But assuming that your project is single language-based, this is not really system you need to care about. Problems would start appearing when someone with for example Russian client attempts to play on heavily modded English server. I can imagine that that can lead to some unexpected behaviour. Maybe. Or maybe not.

Try moving your cursor over MPQEditor multiple times, over left part of its window as well as over right part. Sometimes it gets bugged slightly.

WDBXEditor can both import from and export to CSVs. Also, there is slightly older DBCUtil.

I am, but if you have modding-related questions, I am afraid I cannot be of much help. I quit a long time ago and uninstalled all the tools by now. Check model-changing.net or their Discord to find assistance with modding from people who are still active in the field.
