Since Vector introduced the DBC format long before CanOpen was around.. it doesn't contain PDO/SDO specifics, yet CanOpen software, like CanOpen Magic and Vector Canalyzer Canopen, still asks for a DBC file! Sometimes vendors of CanOpen devices, often supply EDS/DCF files.. but how do you go from EDS/DCF to DBC.. or if neither is supplied, =how do you create a CanOpen based DBC file based solely on the PDF documentation?
