    Thanks guys. I've always wondered 🤔 what was behind the cams. Now I've got a better perspective of the studio setup. I must say that for some reason I always thought you were in a much bigger space.

    What a wonderful studio and shop!
    I always look forward to watching the Andertons Music Co channel, which starts at midnight in Japan.
    I learned a lot by seeing the place where videos are shot and edited.
    It was so interesting.

    • @stoneysdead689
      @stoneysdead689 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lee owns Andertons if I'm not mistaken, so being in front of the camera has to be a relatively small part of his job. I would imagine it's the part he likes best- maybe I'm wrong about that but- if it were me, it would be the part I liked best. Owning a retail outlet is not an easy job- at all. I've never sold guitars, but I've owned and ran brick and mortar locations in the past, it's a rough job. You cannot do it all on your own- you have to learn to delegate and find ppl you can trust- it's not easy. I would bet that's a big part of the bond between the Capt. and Pete- he has learned he can trust Pete to go above and beyond and that he doesn't have to worry when he's on the job.

    Thanks for the tour gentleman! It was cool to look at the equipment and facilities behind the scenes of where Anderton's creates its videos. In my opinion, Anderton's has the best sounding, the best edited, and the most informative gear videos on TH-cam. They are always presented in a way that I feel strikes a perfect balance of information with entertainment and charm that's just serious enough to be to be taken seriously, but never wonkish or boring and often downright hilarious. You guys are the standard when it comes to this kind of content. They're the very best of its kind on the internet.
    Cheers guys!

    @Lee: We need more of this kind of BTS/slightly personal content from Andertons. This IMO will help Andertons to cross the rubicon from being primarily a guitar shop who may be trying to sell you stuff to one that feels more personal and connected to the audience. No, I don't mean for you guys to totally open your lives up to the public, though doing so to a carefully limited degree would certainly help.
    Take a look at Linus Tech Tips and watch a bunch of their vids. Each on camera member of their team has become attractions in their own right, and they managed that through a carefully curated inside peek into their "real" lives, which connects them more meaningfully to the audience.
    We already know you have a kick ass shop for gear. But people might interact more with you from youtube if you leveage a bit more of what you and Pete sometimes do already on social media like fb.
    Maybe consider creating a fairly regular livestream / podcast kind of thing, mainly hosted by Lee and Danish Pete but you could have a rolling and ever changing list of guests or Anderton's personnel. Just talk about gear, music, stuff that you're listening to, gear you are loving now, trends in the industry...anything really to increase that almighty audience interaction on youtube.
    just a couple of thoughts - continued success in 2023!

      They went round Lee's house years ago...

    • @cechichan
      @cechichan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Something like what Casino guitars i think would be really great, the owner and his friend talk about all things guitar but they also add some random stories and topics. Their vids are like 8-12min. Rly lovely to watch

    • @joesatchton212
      @joesatchton212 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RagggedTrouseredPhilanthropist You just said it. They did that years ago...

    • @joesatchton212
      @joesatchton212 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cechichan Agreed. Plus they should leverage all that combined gear expertise more, especially in terms of giving out some practical tips they may have learned over the years. An example would be how they try to manage the rats nest of cables under their boards. The top of the pedalboards can be easy to make look pretty. But we all know the hard part is underneath, if you want to try and tame that mess.
      Just a bit more content that is other than demos of new gear and deals they may be running. More actually helpful, less sales-oriented content that we all could appreciate.

    I think for 2023, you guys should add more room mic sound demos for amps, guitars, pedals ect. Just short little 10sec clips for each pickup or clean/driven sound so we can get a sense of how the amp/guitar will actually sound to our ears rather than directly through a microphone to our headphones/speakers.
    Awesome video! Looking forward to a great year with you guys!

    I’ve been to Andertons twice. Once was to buy an amp and another time to buy an acoustic guitar. They gave me great service and are a fine example of what a UK music store should be, unlike some of the places I’ve been to. I will continue to buy from them again despite the journey to Guilford on the M25.

    I had always assumed that the studio was just the upstairs of the the store, but I guess that isn't the case. Been some fabulous content over the last year, giving me major gear(and talent)-jealousy. Looking forward to what the next year has in store.
