      Ferdy S yeah, Vera Rodrigues. I think she's one of the best! She has amazing interviews with Father John Misty and Benjamin Clementine, and I just saw the last one with Idles and it's EPIC!
      Really looking forward for her interview with Johnny Marr from The Smiths, I saw it on her Instagram but is not yet available... it must be good because he dedicated "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" to her at the concert! Has that ever happened?!?!

      Let me explain. These countries are less "Americanized". That being said there is still a strong sense of ideology in some particular subculture's in Europe. It's not the way it used to be though, and it might never will.

      +Franklin braga That's funny you consider a little chef logo tattoo expensive. They got to where they are doing songs about their experiences of work etc, do you expect them to just forget about all that now? Have you ever worked a shit job before?

      You don't think shoving a thermometer up a frozen chicken's arse all day for minimum wage is a shit job? Ok, your opinion I guess. At least with caring you're actually making a difference. Perhaps give them a listen ad hear what Williamson's lyrics are about, they're about much more than just work.

      Try listening to Williamson's lyrics. I don't think you've really heard them much, if at all.

    • @dhaeze
      @dhaeze 8 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      +Franklin braga very narrow-minded to think that frustrations disappear if you become succesfull. EVERYONE has frustrations. Some might be ridiculous compared to others, but everyone has 'em, big or small, they're part of life. Even the most powerful men on earth have 'em, Obama is frustrated. And obviously so are you. I've seen this kind of complaint before and i think it's kind of depressing to state that real artists should be poor or have a tough life. Fuck that.

    I really like this band, but, I think they should take a side, a political side. I do believe they are leftists and that is one of the reasons I like these guys. When you sing about the working class, the underdog...well, how many Tories are interested in talking about the struggle of the working class? I bet Jeremy Corbin likes this dudes.

      I do a lot of interviews during the Festivals. And I try my best to make them personal and interesting, for you and for the artist. I have my own culture that should represent who I am, and that is a good thing, but that doesn't mean I wont be able to interview those who don't belong in mine. The richness and the vivid context I can give you comes from emerging into both realities and bring that result to you, not becoming someone I'm not, and I'm not a midle age worker dealing with frustration, If I tried to emulate that I would be confronting in the worst way Sleaford Mods poetry. And I'm certanly not a foe who asks bland questions. Part of the respect is to make questions that somehow the answear will give you the best of the artist and then, only then, you can float around his work. I'll be here, always learning, but always with personality and caracter. Hope you keep enjoying it ***
