Mike Purdy There won't be any TTL and HSS for ELB 1200. It is a voltage controlled flash, like every other Elinchrom flash before it. These can't do TTL or HSS, that's why they have Hi-Sync with a special head.
Hey Guy Daudelin, the 500 does support ttl, go look on their site, in fact, they call it the ELD 500 TTL, not too original of a name, but there you have it...

It's difficult to take advise from somebody about photography, as photography is about what you think looks good enough to capture> If you knew what looks good you would have cut your hair by now. Long hair at your age is never a good look. Please get a hair cut.
