I remember when I first heard this song, I described it as an "acoustic song that was heavy" I heard it from this NPR-esque (belong to a different group than NPR), radio station that was my favorite when I lived in Santa Rosa and I could only get the station while going or coming back from school but not my house. They would always play these songs that were like nothing else you would hear on the radio. Love it or hate it I would stay on it to hear something that I was not only new but sometimes music styles that I wasn't even aware that people were out there making.
Beautiful song, Love the ending as well, the muse has played the song, and as if wakening from a dreamlike state we gradually get back to normal perception... the sounds of the city, the sounds of our everyday lives. Wonderful, loved it!
