Tamu is one of the world's greatest drummers. Period. Final. Not just currently living, either. And SO versatile... so many genres and is so at home in all of them, plus sight reads and composes and can sing and play keys.... and such a great smile, and none of the chip on her shoulder that she has duly earned at her level of god-like drummer status.
Every now and then, a song comes from a band that will certainly outlive the band. When it approached the moment just before the part where the band members are usually introduced, I actually felt quite overwhelmed, cos his voice sounded so much like Toshi, I felt myself brought back to the days of X. I don't think it was just me, cos it really look like tears was coming down her cheeks. Such a flood of emotions. Thank you to all members of this band for bringing that raw energy of X, into our rooms. Thank you Yoshiki for this song. Thank you for reminding us how raw energy sounds like. RIP - hide, Taiji, Heath. X - forever.
