    To mini31mimi,
    Waray in English means:
    1. Literally "nothing"
    2. It's an ethnicity, particularly of group of people in Samar
    3. It's a dialect

    wonderful interpetation and excelllent vocals!! when are you coming over to vancouver? there is a huge filipino community here as wellas UP alumni association. let's show the world there is more to the Pinoy than Wowowee!

    @donninzagreb to add to your #2, it's not confined in samar. The whole of Samar and Leyte consider themselves waray-waray. Though Southern Leyte consider themselves bisaya most of the time.

    Such a pity that the group from the most prestigious university in the country sang this song... They could have sang the original version/lyrics... It's more about love and camaraderie not war and death.
