It is not european though but uniquely filipino. Filipinos to me are the most talented singers and performers in the world shaped by the country's history. Very soulful sound unmatched in asia. Kung kailan pa ako tumanda ay nuon na realized na magaganda pala talaga ang mga lumang OPM. At lalong gumaganda when the song is being performed by a group like this. Tindig po ang balahibo ko despite i have watched and heard them sing more than a hundred times. Tutuo 'yon. I used to listen to many OPM just for the sake of listening. But now that I am in the twilight of my life, I consider those kundiman songs as the jewels of the Filipino heritage
