I have a dual battery xpedition. I've done 75 miles on class two in a single day, pas 2-3, 40 psi tires, pedaling, and I weigh 200 lbs. It was on gravel and asphalt with flat and hilly terrain. I could have gone 25-35 more miles (based on the voltage levels showing) before the battery would have died,.so 100 miles. That exceeds my expetations for such a varied terrain. Having proper tire pressure makes a big difference.
I haven’t charged mine in days because I wasn’t able to complete my range test and really wanted to see what that second half of the battery power would do for me. But I was on-track for similar results - on PAS 2. Without knowing the assist level, it’s tough to contextualize range results.
Love the group rides , currently watching all the way through! wish i could join! , and wow that xpedition fast on pas 1 and 2 , wish i could get those results with my xp lite .
Thats good range flat ground. Kepler got 75 miles like that. Average 12.4 mph. I did a 20 mph throttle only test and got 30 miles and 50% battery left. I know its another 15 miles on 50% at 20 mph. So about 45 miles total at 20 mph throttle only.👍
Group rides are so cool, sure beats solo or just 2 people. Plus you don't have to spend a fortune like one of those catered riding services, such as Bubba's; even tho they're really nice, they're pricey cause they put you up in expensive hotels and provide lavish meals. I wish there was another tour group that would be cheaper w/o the fancy hotel and expensive meal. A Motel 6 and a diner is good enough for me.
I haven’t been on a group ride like that before but I think I’d prefer 2-4 people. I want us to be able to easily see and hear each other. That’s a tough ask on a narrow trail with a larger group.
@@ChrisCrossed I watched your video, you used the throttle a lot more than starting out and crossing streets. But every single time you use the throttle cuts down your range.
How is Lectric able to squeeze 150 mile range per their marketing?... when your lowest PAS and 175 lb weight only gets above half of that 😁 Lectric: PAS 1 on single battery = 75 mi 🤯

"it's not long enough" I lost count how many times I've heard that.

I will be glad to see the expedition with the pinion gear box and gates belt drive.
That would be cool
I like this video, looks like a very nice cruise. Ive neen looking at this bike very seriously. Be safe
Thanks for watching

Yeah for 28ah it’s very respectable range. Still puzzled at Lectrics numbers though.
Why didn’t you back it into it so that it’s more of a side it you know what I mean so the back tires up against the post

Love that trail!
What do you think of the all season tires vs the standard knobby ones, after the long ride?
I kinda dont like these tires, they are not very good at cornering. Was thinking about maybe putting the knobbies on or something else.
Looks way too heavy and slow, also noisy? Would go for a folding bike so as to load
into a van for new areas and trips. Yet like the loading options.
28mph but yes it is noisy
Why don’t you do a preflight before walking out the door and keep everyone waiting?
Now you tell me :-(
What camera set up are you using?
I have a DJI Osmo with a neck collar holder
question when you ride bike at 20mph how far can you get on charge. and if you take to 25mph how far will go on flat land
It will decrease in range when you go from 20-25, Lectric has a good range chart on their site. I did my test going like 11-15mph
Busy trail. Don't like to ride on them when they are like that especially with an E-bike.
Trails are for everyone….
The only issue I have with your “range” test is that you use the throttle A LOT. You will ALWAYS get a lower range with throttle.
I consider my tests real world meaning a little bit of throttle use is part of that. I mainly use it for getting started and street crossings.
@@ChrisCrossed I watched your video, you used the throttle a lot more than starting out and crossing streets. But every single time you use the throttle cuts down your range.
I didnt record the full ride so you are missing some context, my throttle use was 10% maybe.
So all these people need to trailer their bikes to do this ride? Racks and stuff i mean.
Yeah pretty much everyone has a rack

Those phoenix roads must be super smooth 😜
The 150 mile range is with dual batteries.
You just confirmed their numbers- which are actually 150 miles with a dual battery.
