I had a chance to visit the Lectric headquarters a few months back. The energy in that office is so high from all their staff being as energetic and excited as Levi is about what they do. It's a really amazing company.

Lectric, thank you for giving me such a killer bike, the expedition without breaking the bank. Im 57 my husband 65 and we plan to use these not only for enjoyment but to get around. We've been married 37 yrs and these bikes have been such a pleasure I can't even stress the flat enjoyment We've had. I think all the elderly need to have one of these. Money is tight, gas is ridiculous and I've found these bikes to be a fantastic solution. We plan on moving down to the gulf shores area in a 50+ community. I will be showing this bike off I can promise you that. Right now the hubby rides a kbo cargo ranger but we hope to get him one of these soon. 2 more days mine will be here 6-17-23 Im to excited!! Again, thanks Lectric 28:15
My expedition stilllhs not arrived . It's been on the road for a month. They said it would be here last Fri. Sat. or Sunday. Never came. Taking some of the joy from what I was excited about. Still waiting. They were called several times.
Oh man. I know how frustrating that can be. I waited 9 months for my first ebike. What did Lectric say was the reason for the delay? On the bright side, when you do get your ebike, you’re gonna love it. It’s top of the list of being one of the best e-bikes ever made for the price.
@@flybryfly As a cargo ebike, I think dual motors will help with the hill climbing capabilities for sure! I received an Xpedition as a gift. I had problems with the hub motor my first 50 miles. It was an issue with the internal gears or magnet. I contacted Lectric and they said that warranties do not transfer and invoiced me $280 for a new rear wheel. The bike was only a few weeks old. Crazy. Kickstand bolt sucks too. Look out for kickstand bolt failure. New ones cheap at hardware store, though tightening sucks!
did you buy? I'm looking at himiway, mokwheel, heybike, velotric, ride1up, and Lectric. the Lectric premium may be worth the xtra $200 for mid drive and xtra battery

Thank you for this exclusive content. I agree with everything he was saying. I bought one after doing a lot of research. Once I saw the XPedition I knew it was the one.
I have one of the early bikes and have more than 5000 miles on it. I really like this new design. There is some concern about battery fires in the news of late. What if any thing are they doing to address this? Are their batteries UL tested?
I've had my XPedition for 7 months and have put 1500 road miles (all in the Sierra Foothills) on it in that time. I've completely worn out the original tires as well as both brake rotors. I've also gone through 3 sets of brake pads) I should also note that I weigh 275 lbs so I do stress the bike. The biggest issue I see with long crosscountry riding is having to plan on multiple service stops to replace worn components. Otherwise I think it could do the job quite well. For comfort on long rides I would replace the seat with a nice wide and soft one though. Another thought is for really long distance you'll need a second pair of batteries. Also you need a pair of 4 amp chargers so you'll have enough time to recharge overnight. Lectric doesn't recommend these but I've had no issues with mine.

Hey question , and forgive me if someone already asked , does the controller have an weather rating for wet weather riding being its mounted location ? Thanks
Sorry, I don't know an official answer, but I do know the entire ebike is considered water resistant to rain (not submerged in water) and believe that means the controller should be decently protected for wet weather riding. That might be a better question for Lectric to answer safely.
Lectric said my bike would be here today. Its 6pm and no bike. This is over 2 months waiting after paying them for the cargo bike. So frustrating and pisses me off. Ive called 5 times at least. They said it was coming 2 weeks ago between a friday and sunday so i stayed home all weekend but no ebike arrived.
Oh man. I totally know how frustrating that came be. I waited 9 months for the first ebike I bought. People started telling me to give up on it. Does the carrier have a tracking code that might be more accurate in estimating a delivery date?
I want full throttle at all pedal assist levels. To me that is what the throttle is for, to give me a burst of extra speed when I need it, but still keep my max assisted speed at a certain level I don’t understand why (some?) pedal assist bikes limit the throttle tied to which pedal assist level Also a throttle only level, so that I can pedal *without* assist but still hit the throttle when I need that burst of speed
I agree 100% with you. I love full throttle. Sadly, in order for them to assure they can keep the ebike ‘mostly’ bike lane legal, the throttle can only go a max of 20mph. Once throttles exceed 20mph, most states and federal lands will say it’s not street legal and can only be used on private property, off road, or must be licensed as a moped or motorcycle (which then has a bunch of other rules like it has to have blinkers etc). I would still look for e-bikes that go full throttle if I was to buy my next one though as you’re right about having the power when you need it.
@@EbikeProducts I think you're misunderstanding the comment. Let's say PAS 1 is 100 watts and PAS 5 is 1000w. What the comment or is saying it that, like on Rad Power bikes, even when pedaling in PAS 1, you can twist the throttle to get full 1000W of power without having to change the PAS level.
