Ocean did managed to make some geninuely good games, mostly with their arcade ports and some originals but the ones people know are their games based on movie and TV licenses and most of them are very crappy lol
@@javaykirk2688 I know, I am talking back in the 80s Nintendo didn't care about porting their game like donkey kong, mario bros in different consoles which is not an a Nintendo consoles
Yeah. And this great port was made by the same company that brought us crappy games like Robocop 2 (NES), Dennis The Menace (SNES), Darkman (NES), Hook (NES), most of the Addams Family games (NES, SNES And GameBoy) and most of the Jurassic Park games (NES, SNES And GameBoy).
Nice! Well played - but technically not really a longplay for this - I believe (a while since I've played it) there's 5 stages and screen 25 they've put in a 'kill screen' like in the arcade (Mario dies after a few seconds!)
the music is unfortunately nothing to write home about, but the graphics & gameplay are kept intact surprisingly!
Looks like a really good conversion! Colorful graphics, nearly all of the gameplay intact, uh... kind of lame sound. Can't have it all, I guess!
Thanks for posting this, always wanted to see this version.
I’m very surprised that the British version of LJN known as Ocean made a great port of the Donkey Kong arcade game on the Amstrad CPC.

The music somehow reaches the fart levels of DOOM on the 32X
Still a good port.
@@camulodunon True. It's based on the Ocean C64 port, which was already good.
The sound is the only real issue with this version of the game. Other than that, it's great!
Mario runs like he needs Ex-lax. At least this version has the Conveyor belt level.
Actually very good, with the exception of the sound/music.
You tricked me because i thought there was hair on my screen because of your profile lol
This sounds like the regular version with a broken soundboard.
Yeah... 🤔
That’s pretty good for the CPC
"HOW HIGH CAN YOU GET?"
Uhhh..Pretty high...*Cough*
CAN WE GET MUCH HIGHER
wow cool i had a amstrad as a kid and i dident even know there was a donky kong it's not a bad port :D
back then, nintendo dosen't even care about porting their games into other consoles
Nintendo didn't make this version.

the high can you get music is cool
When this has all four stages but Nintendo’s official version only had three. Ocean were absolutely mental lmao

Why Does The 1st Music On This Game Sound Badass
Cyclops Kong...
i played this once almost got to the end
Every sound effects in this game sounds like fart.
We Love That Game
00:19 Starting the game.
Donkey Kong Blue Jumpman Returns (1997) Amstrad CPC
It’s inferior in terms of sound and graphics, but the gameplay is nearly perfect. Hammers are there, and Stage 2 is actually in the game.
Donkey Kong is a Cyclops in this version. Weird.
That intro.....................................
im i the only one who thinks the intro theme sounds more intimidating on the amstrad than in the arcade... 0:19
probably coz the music is lower-pitched
real damn spooky ngl
Jess rogan WAS something
Who wlsu ebosnrb that was barun fallimf down and neo the speimd
All related videos by cubex :).
Motherfu- that sound
This version shredders the nes version in pieces.
If not for the choppy graphics and terrible sound.
You've been posting this on every port of Donkey Kong, even the ZX Spectrum version. Do yourself a favor and wash all that blind hate out of you.

Arcade Replica
The music sounds like a bunch of farting
A lot of the Donkey Kong ports made farting noises when Mario was walking. Perfectly normal behavior on a construction site.
This is too short! XD
Anch'io vorrei amstrad cpc e donkey kong
Not really
Lol
