The old classic indeed. Also quite amazing that such a short game can be so great. Of cause there are even shorter games so it shows that if the level design/gameplay is good enough you dont really need much.
One of the best ports. I can give the sound a pass because the CPC doesn't have the best soundboard, but why the heck are the graphics THIS CHOPPY? DK looks good (if not for the mistmatched palette) when starting a level yet the rest of the sprites looks like they were resized to be smaller and then restretched to normal size.
@@Nicec00lkidd I kinda doubt it. It seems like they just lazily re-stretched the graphics from the Ocean C64 port, while the Amstrad supports the same resolution as the original Arcade sprites.
@@fco64 Technically yes however if you look closely, sans for the palette miscoloration, DK in the How High Can You Get screen and the font look arcade accurate, everything else looks stretchy like the C64.

Para mí éste junto con Arkanoid son los 2 clasicazos de AMSTRAD CPC... aunque luego hay muchos juegazos tambien, pero estos dos tienen algo especial.

That's how the CPC is I guess. I mean, Its not that big of a problem in my opinion.
