She reminds me so much of Cecilia Bartoli! Not so much in her timbre, but in that machine-gun way of hers of delivering fast coloratura passages. Wonderful!
Rodica Vica is wonderful. She resembles Cecilia Bartoli a lot as for her passion and vocal strength, but she has something “darker“ (I don’t mean just the hair colour) in her, more controlled and more mysterious. Silk hiding steel, it might be said. I mean, Cecilia Bartoli is great in the way that she gives everything out, she radiates her passion and brillance; Rodica Vica, on the other hand, has a comparably brilliant technique, but with Rodica I have the impression that she is still hiding something, keeping a secret for herself - and I love it. It makes her singing uniquely intriguing.
Something really personal in this version. First I was not absolutely convinced, but actually the more I listen to it, the more I love it. The voice is strange and even fascinating. I dare to say it : there's a bit something of Callas... Which can be considered as a compliment... 😄

What a wonderful and beautifully unique voice you have, my dear! I would say you're a combination of Bartoli and Fleming; your coloratura runs are exceptional. I do think also that you aren't even reaching for that Bb, making me believe that you could pull out a high D and be just fine. I loved the slower arrangement as it suits your timbre and I really enjoyed seeing your dancing. It's wonderful to see such a beautiful coloratura enjoy the music. Thank you! Sublime! Solo echo en falta que dese el DaCapo hayan variaciones y florituras al gusto de la cantante propias del barroco. Voy a mantener que adoro las interpretaciones de Bartoli, pero!!!... Hay algo que opino que haces mejor que Bartoli, y es que haces las notas más claras en los compases 54-56 y 64-67 que ella, bravo!! A propósito, creo que la cuerda ha interpretado el arreglo que colgué hace años en imslp, si es así, Gracias!
@@RodicaVica I was just joking. But anyway - I guess it was Elizabeth Schwarzkopf who accused Mozart to have written typical instrumental-kind of parts for singers. But I guess she didn´t know Vivaldi, as this could be a typical instrumental part.
