This mum is probably the best mum I''ve seen when it's come to kid pageants. She's uplifting, kind and never puts pressure on her daughter. She's literally just supporting her daughter in a hobby of hers. Nice, that's how they all should be :)
I would support pageants if every parent treated child like this and children actually wanted it, sadly it’s rare :c

She’s too aware and evolved for this world. When she’s done playing “dress up” and ” let’s pretend”, she’ll either quit and write a memoir 20 years from this filming or be broken by her exposure to this level of exploitation.

Yeah most parents yell at the kid when they don't bring home a trophy and that'd why they get mad. The kids. Because they don't want to let there abusive parents down

That's unfair to the other kids on this show. It's good that this girl knows that it's just a bit of fun, but it's because she has parents who don't pressure her or encourage her to feel like winning is the only thing that matters. It seems like so many of the other kids on this show are the products of parental pressure and/or generally bad parenting. Remember, they're still growing, and seem to be growing in environments where either they are put under extreme pressure, or otherwise never given balance. Sometimes you can't entirely fault parents either if *they* never learned better, but in those cases, at least, they are fully grown, and so, have to learn how to be better. Kids need someone to teach them.

I’m still not keen on pageants but this is how it should be. A child that truly loves it and a mom whom just cares about having fun and a happy child! Also she’s the only girl clapping for the other contestants, she’s a wonderful little girl and her mom raised her right.
Isabella is delightful. I love that she does the Pagants and has fun. Super Hula Hoop skills and very creative.
This is the only mother-daughter duo that I have seen on this program that I really love. The mother respects and supports her daughter and her daughter is clearly having fun. She's not being forced to do things she doesn't want to do for the sake of her mother. Her mother shows she is proud of her no matter what because she knows her daughter is doing her best and is doing something that makes her happy. Her daughter clearly shows an interest on being on stage and performing and isn't doing this because her mom wants bragging rights. And she shows a lot of maturity by not only clapping for the other girls, but also not throwing a fit for not getting the title she wants, like girls twice her age do. This is how pageantry should be.
I’d love to see an update on her. I’m sure by now she’s s young adult. And just as cute, smart, and vivacious as she was as a little girl.

This is pretty much the only time where the kid's parent doesn't seem to measure their worth in the number of pageants they win...
If you have young children thinking they need to do well or their parent (usually mom) doesn't love them anymore, of course they'll act out when they are afraid they'll do badly. Plus, the parents usually set terrible examples (probably more parent tantrums on this show than kids) and a way too big amount of tantrums are actually justified (toddlers just wanting to play outside, or the beauty treatment actually hurting children).

@@etezinhayoutube653 Usually the children aren't the issue though, the parents are. Like, if they had this terrible example all their life, and think they loose their parent's love if they do badly in their pageants, not to mention the fact that they are little children, of course they'll act out.
Isabella seems like a sweet kid, but the main difference between her and most other contestants is a) she seems to actually enjoy being there, and b) her mom actually deserves to be called a mother, she's great, in contrast to most parents on this show.

Also when isabella lost the expression in her mom's face is just like she's a bit sad because she knew her daughter has put her all into it
Like other pageant moms are probably pissed off at their child or at the pageant for not winning yknow
But here is isabella's mom she's only a bit sad because in her heart her daughter is always a winner, because she knows isabella enjoys this so much and wishes for that win and always do her best so she just wanted those effort to be appreciated yanno and I think that's wholesome

i love how the mom praised her natural hair and felt bad covering it up. that little bit is already proof that she's not as pageant-obsessed as other moms are and she's truly proud of her daughter as she is.
on the other hand, i hope the mom makes isabella try out for theater stuff. since the girl loves performing, i think she'll really like those and it's less pressure than pageants

Finally out of ALL the toddlers and Tiara episodes I've watched so far I found a normal child and a normal mom just having fun with a little competition and she's soo cute. Also I love that her mom doesn't really care if her teeth is crooked or if her skin is too light but she just lets her daughter embrace a little of her natural beauty and talent.
So. This is all her choice? And she's. Enjoying it? Wow!!

She’s so clearly just happy to be here. And she loves EVERY part of the process. I think that makes such a big difference. She likes training, and prepping, and competing. Even if she doesn’t win!
This is the first mum I’ve seen who appreciates her daughter’s natural beauty, is really supportive and teaches her daughter that winning isn’t all that matters.

1:48-1:49 is when she's the most beautiful. She looks and acts like a normal, healthy little girl with an immensely appealing personality, not like the typical contestants who remind me of cardboard cut-outs. If only there was a prize for being sweet, natural, down-to-earth AND attractive --- she would scoop up that prize hands-down. No one else would stand a chance.

I love that they call her adorable and cute, even when getting her makeup done, instead of beautiful. she’s being taught that she doesn’t need makeup or to look older to compete. this is one of the rare times i’ve seen such a wonderful kid in pageants!
It’s refreshing to see a Pageant mum reassure her daughter that winning doesn’t matter as long as she had fun.

Finally, a mom who is likable on this show! The mom and daughter relationship is precious! Isabella is such a sweetheart! I love how the mom and the coach allow her to be creative with her routines instead of telling her everything to do step-by-step.

This is the most refreshing scene I have seen of this show so far. This interaction between mom and daughter seems much more like a "normal" extra curricular activity vs the behavior, inappropriate clothing and attitudes of, mostly, the parents of these girls.
Based on this one clip I really like both mother and daughter. I also like that there was not one, giant sugar stick seen in her proximity 😱

so cuteee, you can tell she has a genuine smile on stage and does it because she enjoys it. props to mom for not goin overboard with styling, girls this age don't need to learn that they need spray tans and fake teeth to be beautiful. gives her the confidence to perform and be comfortable in front of an audience (a valuable skill) without setting her up for insecurity and anxiety which is way too common oon this show.

I remember watching this series to silently judge the parents. The mom here and Alessandra's mom were the only mothers who actually want their girls to have fun and are very supportive.
i love when the kids on this show are doing it because THEY want to, and the moms fully support them but don’t let it get out of hand! like when the girl just made up her own thing and the mom fully supported it because it’s what made her happy :)

This gorgeous girl is the only one I've ever seen who actually gets any enjoyment out of the process while her mom has her daughter's best interests at heart, which seems a rare thing in the world of child pageantry. They are both winners in my opinion.
