Great product. Will Redarc bring to the market a unit like this with a built in inverter, say 1500 watt? I can't be the only one who wants to go camping with a pod coffee maker.

I’d love to stick this in the back of my hilux on the tub, there’ll be a cover over the tub but is rain or sand/dust going to be an issue if it does get in?

Thanks for watching! The GoBlock is definitely tough enough to withstand water splashes, dirt and dust. As a fully sealed unit, there are no fans or vents that can let water into the inner mechanics.

Can this be charged back up from the vehicle alternator? Does this have the redarc bcdc built in? If so, how does that work with this? My understanding is the bcdc needs like 3 different grounding points (one from the main battery, one from this backup battery, and one for the bcdc itself). How does this battery box get grounded so that the bcdc works? Thanks for your help.

Hi John, thanks for your comment. GoBlock can indeed charge from the Vehicle’s alternator/Start battery either via an Anderson connection or using our PowerDock system. The earthing is done via the Anderson to either the Vehicle chassis or back to the Start battery and this is all it requires.
The internal DC-DC charging is up to 50A and also earths through this connection and to the battery as well. Let us know if you have further questions, you’re more than welcome to give us a call on 1300 REDARC if you want to discuss more!

Any chance you can get rid of that goddamn music that detracts from what we’re trying to hear you say?

its all over priced redarc gear just a rip off , projector and its IDC25X has a 2" touch screen that can control 15 devices , no need for any power panel switch boards mass of wires
