    I made a hexagon kaleidoscope years ago, and it was MUCH harder.
    I'm so impressed with how great this print (which is definitely not my normal style !) Works out.

    Love the idea of
    making a kaleidoscope quilt. Had my delivery of a Kaffe Fassett Free Spirit Charm pack today of beautiful blues, purple and pinks. Not sure one charm pack is going to enable me to do Kaleidoscope though 😊 I have ordered some pink patterned fat quarters to go with it, so who knows 😊 Thank you for your tutorial 💙💜💕

      @@70acres You’re welcome! I can’t wait to see your finished quilt. We’ll probably be going up to Asheville next week if they have a service for Joshua Frantz. Not sure if you get Asheville’s news or not. He’s Mark’s nephew and the police found his body in a motel. He went to a concert with some friends last Friday. No one knows what happened. He was 33. There doing an autopsy and investigating the crime scene. His family have been at our house and leaving today. Sure hope and pray they get some answers. Hope he’s in the arms of Jesus.

    I enjoyed this a lot! I am so glad to learn this technique can be done with a four patch block. I had only seen it done with triangles to make hexagons or octagons. This is beautiful, too! I also like your block arrangement. I am so sorry the wind blew them off the wall. Picking them up off the floor would not have been fun… even if the breeze did feel good!

    love this way but did not get how you layered it when you cut the fold and then which ones did you layer together? was all the right up together and the face down all together>

    • @70acres
      @70acres  ปีที่แล้ว

      I cut the four repeats and split them down the center fold. I stacked the four front pieces together and matched patterns and then I repeated this for the back pieces. I stacked both matched groups on top of each other to cut the strips. You can do the fronts and backs separately if you wish. Cutting 8 layers at once is a bit foolish of me. Thanks for watching, Linda!
