Happy Father's Day George! I agree for what you pay Rough Rider can stand against any other knife in its class! I believe the knife you were referring to that you are looking into is the Artic Fox!
Yep, with you. I have the wharencliffe on the artic fox. Be safe my friend
Happy Father’s Day George.
Thankyou.
Thanks for sharing. I agree, Rough Ryder is a great value and has great build quality. The walking stick is coming along well. God bless and have a great day.
Yep good value for sure, And to you and yours
Great Videos, you inspired me to start a build on 3:59 my first peasant out of 440, what a challenge. I've collected Opinal,Old Bear, MAM, RR, Buck, Rite Edge, Case, Kershaw, the list goes on. Love wood handle knives - Thanks George!!!!
Lol..yep, I had to struggle with that one. Love em peasants. Be safe my friend
A really good looking folding knife, sir!
And your walking stick gets an interesting pattern.
Nice for sure. Hope all us well my friend
Hi George! My theory onthe yellow composition handles is that they are meant to be easily found if dropped in the woods or some dark place. N one had ever told me that, nor have I seen it in writing; it's just my take on the color of the handle scales. I agree with you that knives that size are a bit large for EDC pocket carry.
My wife gave me the RR “Arctic Fox” congress for Christmas. I’ve since picked up a couple more of the series - you’ll like them; go for it!
Yep, I have the wharencliffe very nice series. Be safe
Have a wonderful week G. !!!
Back at you my friend
1:06 . . they're coming for you George, make a run for it . . like that RR Stockman :)
Lol...I hid. There is a holding lot for Ambulances down the road...painful. plus just up the road alot of police live there...so there's that...lol. be safe my friend
I have two of the rough rider stockman in the moon glow series. I wish they would make a sunfish \ elephant toe in the moon glow series. 👍🏻
That would be nice. I love the sunfish and elephant toes. Thanks for watching always appreciated 😁
I have one in the classic carbon looks the same just has a different shield a r on the bolsters and I think the bolsters are pinched and obviously the blades are carbon
Yep. I never seen the shield before kinda like it. Be safe out there 👍
Hi George I don't have a Stockman not a pattern that appeals to me, do you find the Sheepsfoot blade causes a hotspot when you use the other blades? 😁
Didn't notice it. But only used it on this so far. 🤷 be safe
Makes me mad they are made in china.. i avoid chinese made stuff when i can.. many reasons but covid comes to mind first.. that said rhey look like pretty knives.. just saw your video on the case sodbuster.. 👍 i am thinking about getting into sheath making.. any tips.. thanks for another great video 👍
I hear you my friend. Unfortunately my budget just cannot handle the cost of USA made knives. Going out and finding old ones is my new thing. Fixing them up and all. I would buy USA if I could. But what to do. So I thunk Tge RR are the best available China knives on my budget.
I an self taught on keathering. I watched some videis...choose carefully which you watch...like all videos some will show you how they do it...with a fancy workshop and all nessesaries you could want. I watched manufacturer ones. And leather types..get to know the leather. It makes quiet a difference when finishing. As far as tools well depends on budget avoid starter kits, inexpensive but tools are not necessary the best. Get just what you need to start and add as you feel more comfortable. Hope this helps. Be safe as always and appreciate your support
@@2ndchancegeorge thanks I enjoy your reviews.. lol but watching them makes me want those rr knives.. take care
Lol..
