- It’s not so much about minimalist packing as it is about accurate packing.
Walk with me through my pack for Fort Lauderdale and Miami without a set itinerary, how it unfolded, what I wore where and how I could have made what I packed work had other spontaneous activities come up.
Then fold all the clothes with me into my mini weekender along with the rest of what I packed.
There are packing tips throughout the whole video. Remember to try out the tips you like at your own pace and that your folds/accuracy will get better the more trips you take.

I own this bag and I had never thought of using the bottom compartment as a packing cube on the inside🤯. Did you get the chance to go through TSA at all with the compartment attached on the bottom? I keep wondering if I will be able to use that weekender as a personal item as opposed to a carry on (because it might be too big)

Thanks! I’ve gone through TSA with the bottom compartment on and off without any problems. It’s always a personal item with the bottom compartment off and I’d double check the restrictions of the airline you’re flying and/or my TikTok specifically for this bag if it’s a personal item with it on

What about handbags, or clutches and accessories?
I brought the front bag that detaches from my beis 2-in-1 backpack and packed it alongside the two pairs of shoes. For jewelry, I wore a full set when I traveled and that’s what I wore throughout the trip

It’s held up so well! I’ve had this one for over 3 years. I’d go for black if you’re worried about wear and tear

Why did you put the bottom inside the bag rather than just keeping it zipped on the bottom?

That huge "cube" is far too big for that amount of clothes or for a carry on size bag which this clearly is!
You can get at least 4 times that amount in that thick ,heavy so called cube!
That bag is a carry on size!
