Their update basically was hey remember those wheels we painted white well guess what we painted them silver now oh and some new panels. Man I really thought this was the year they would have finally given the Ryker better head lights, instrument gauge and maybe a slightly bigger tank . I love Can-Am products but you missed the mark on this one.
Upgrades to consider for future higher-end Ryker trims: - 1200+CC Rotax - higher top speed limit - larger rear wheel - more slip-on exhaust options (similar to F3) - shielding around frunk to mitigate heat - LED lights all around - hazard lights for all markets - TFT display - lockable parking brake standard - upgraded stator for greater electronics upgrade capability - larger/wider brake lever - brake light modulator - high beam forefinger trigger
From what I understand, the issue is not the engine size but the CVT. Until the CVT gets upgraded or replaced a bigger engine will do nothing for top speed.
These bikes have remained largely unchanged in the quickness/top speed categories for a decade. Can-Am really needs to address the powertrain in these bikes. FOr the size and weight they need more power...at least on the F3-S model. Give us a true sportbike model.
I was genuinely excited to see what the new Ryker would be like. I didn't expect much but hoped it'd be just a little bit better than last year so that maybe I'd finally have enough of an urge take the plunge now that they're slightly more expensive on top of everything else being more expensive as well. But wheel colors and some panels? Why was I excited for this?? It's so low effort to such a degree that it's bordering pitiful levels.
And the Ryker lineup stays stale for another year. You are totally missing the mark and opportunity to make a performance Ryker for us more spirited riders. At least you made some good changes on the spyders. But please give some love to these under powered motors.
That's what's keeping me from upgrading to the spyder. I have a ryker and excited about the new 2024 spyder.....but very disappointed as I am team android. I hear that a few competitors are on the rise ( honda..etc) maybe introducing something soon..
I was ready to pre order the f3-s and bailed when I learned they jipped us Android users. Very disappointing they couldn't do both Apple and Android. Staying with my ryker for now.
Same here. I am in the market for a trike and the spyder fit the bill. I backed off putting a down payment on a 2023 because of no android auto. They fix this and I have money to throw at BRP, unless something else with Android Auto takes it first.
Very nice! Love the new screen and Apple Car Play is an awesome addition for us Apple users! I'd be willing to pay a little extra for the Ryker if you added a larger screen and led lights to that as well. 😎
I wonder if the new LED headlights on the F3 could be retrofitted to older models like my 2022. Are the aux lights LED as well or are they still halogen?
Really would have liked to see LED-lights all around for ALL Ryker trims as standard by now. Lack of visability is a saftey issue I hope BRP will adress
wish ya show more love to the ryker. its bringing in your younger more active croud. 900cc and only 110 mph is not cutting it. We would like a true sport reverse trike. More aggressive, more power and greater performance. 1300cc ryker that pushes the limit. up the price, if you build it we will come.
SMDH... I mean I love my 22 Ryker Sport but was hoping to see some improvements to the Ryker such as corrected fuel gauge, option for left side shad bag storage or both sides. Definitely a 1100cc or 1300cc engine. LED headlights. And finally...additional body colors besides black - not just panels. After all these years, you can't mold red, yellow, green, blue, etc? Only black? Doesn't make sense.
Controls for the reverse seem to have been improved i dont see the big R button on the left handlebar like the previous models (F3 andRT)seems more ergonomics and also like the F3-S new color and wheels.That being said i'm still fairly happy and proud with my 22 F3 base
That screen is amazing, way to embrace apple carplay. I think they can add more power and better fuel economy and add central locking for all the storage and it would be perfect.
I take the class this weekend but babyyy, if I'm dropping all this money on the '24 model, I'm gonna need Android Auto. Luckily I'm a patient woman lol
The LED lighting and fancy display on the F3-s doesn't justify the price increase. Especially when you compare it to the previous model year special series features. The lighting upgrade should have been done years ago for all lighting, not just the headlights. BRP needs to include higher quality suspension, especially since they took away the more sporty adjjustable KYB's and more scratch resistant plastic on the F3-s. These are some actual needed improvements. l'll hold on to my 2022 F3s special series until they actually make some upgrades. I can add LED's, and the new display really doesn't offer much upgrade for the sport rider.
BRP, really needs to take a closer look at quality control. Adding a 10.5 inch screen on the more expensive machine isn't value added to the product line. Why not add anti-theft features on the Can Am Rykers for 2024. Fix all of Vault codes that a lot of riders are experiencing. Upgrading the comfort without upgrading the price would be a great start. New color side panels and Silver Rally wheels doesn't excite me. BRP better hope Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki don't start making tri-cycle vehicle, they will take all the business. Imagine Honda recreating the Ryker. 1000cc, belt drive, standard clutch and shifter...WOW. I have a 2022 Ryker, 900 Ace, with 1400 miles. The bike doesn't excite anymore due to the recalls, expensive aftermarket parts, and the crazy sounds when giving it throttle. Hope you get an engineer that thinks out side of the box and puts the customer first.
First of all that stock wheel gray does not look premium on the ryker... And what exactly did you guys redesign on it? It looks like you guy's just phoned it in to be honest. You could have at least made us a sportier fairing/ windshield... But no... You guys just gave us more colored panels. Pretty sure you can fit a touch screen on the Ryker too. Lastly, fix/redesign the headlights for the love of God... At least make them LED... And can we get brembo brakes and more power? 1200, 1300? Make it actually worth the price tag that is being touted for a change...
I get the Ryker is entry level, but they need more than "we took the best wheels, and made them worse, and here's some plastics" for a refresh". I don't know how many more Spyders than Rykers they sell, but i see as lot more Rykers than Spyders.

The question is when does Can-Am actually intend on releasing Apple CarPlay on the 2024 models? They advertise it is available but when you purchase your vehicle you will quickly find it does not. On various customer forums customers are outraged for having paid for a feature that is not actually equipped. To make things worse the best answer Can-Am will give anyone is that it is to be released “soon” which has been the same answer since the release. Give your customers a straight answer and an actual date to expect what we’ve paid for. This is disrespectful to customers to whom you’ve sold a false bill of goods. Step up Can-Am. Take some responsibility and show some action. Do the right thing for your customers.

Those new f3's are as fugly as can be. The section with the headlights looks like somebody took the top half of an rt and just slapped it on there, it just doesn't look like it belongs there. It's like someone took a front end of a gremlin and try to slap it on a pacer. The only way you could make it uglier is make it in a manta green. I also have to give an attaboy to BRP for alienating all of the android users that are out there. No rush or incentive for me to get one I'll stick with my 2020.
Don’t buy it! I have a 2022 Ryker Sport with under 6k miles and it’s been to the shop for VSS errors 7 times. That’s a visit every thousand miles and it would spend at minimum 2-3 weeks in the shop. Once it was almost 2 months. I’m done, it’s a piece of crap. If you have one and had no issues, sweet glad it’s working out but trust me on this, the issues are coming your way eventually.

I can't believe they didn't upgrade the Ryker's headlights to LED!
Thats the only one that has been intentionally left out from the LED lights and BRP Connect large screen display!
