I’m watching now from USA 🇺🇸 I missed my country Bhutan 🇧🇹 😢 I’m born in samtha district and dhogchae village.when I was 1 years I was left jhapa nepal as Bhutanese refugees and I stay 21 years at camp ⛺️ than 2008 (IOM) International Organization for Migration .organization helped us resettlement to USA 🇺🇸 as migration. I miss my country Bhutan ❤
Dear jack as much as we appreciate and respect the intentions behind you referring to our lotshamps as NEPALIS, lately its been quite a sensitive issue ,am sure you might be aware about the 1990s conflict which mainly arose coz of our cultural differences, we had barely made it out .Now we stand united as one people under a wonderful king and we would love to be called Bhutanese regardless of where we are. Nepalis are people who are citizens of nepal and ‘BHUTANESE are people who are citizens of bhutan, period!!!!. Wonderful video though.❤❤
Im a huge fan of you jack and Sophia, I live in southern Bhutan and i think you should definitely come visit the southern part, 90% of the people here speak nepali(referred as lhotshampa in Bhutan). The eastern, western and the central region, people mostly speak the national language and majority speaks lhotshampa in the south. I really love your videos❤
@@小清新-n8v even if I'm a lhotsham, I don't mean it in a offensive way but we love our king and I think instead of hoping for reunion, they way you all from Nepal say it, disrespects our monarch. @@saanch6018 It was your own country that provoked the China's Tibet issue, with all the talk about returning Tibet. The comment section is full of nonsense from you Bhutanese and Nepalese people every day. Now it's my turn to satirize it.
Much love for the two of you from Arizona, USA. I love Bhutan and have many friends there - as a buddhist, one day I would love to live there for my final years.

Why would they unite when they don’t even have same cultures and traditions? Bhutan may look similar to nepal but in real, it’s diff from nepal. Bhutan and nepal never was a one country or had a connection to be united. Bhutan have ethnic nepali group in southern part which could be the only similarity
back when border was open there was no restriction,no visa the people shared the land between nepal ,northeast india and also bhutan, many people migrated from nepal to there, some stayed there some returned back to nepal, now its all messed up ,need id and all for passing the borders ,pay visa fees

You should learn more about bhutan. Jacktorr is absolutely right. Those are central which is nearly south of Bhutan where they speak nepali language. We consider them as Bhutanese lotshampa.
Lots of people on the internet don’t know that name. So for the the purpose of showing more people your amazing country we need to use words people know. Which helps tourism in your country.
When Sikkim was annexed by India by a so-called referendum, Bhutanese king actually came with this idea of unification with Nepali king. But Nepalese king refused, and Bhutan fell into India's Sikkimisation trap. Nepali Kings and Rana regime has made so many mistakes. Nepal should have accepted the idea and made one larger kingdom under the Nepali ruler.
Many people on the internet might not be familiar with that name "lhotsampa". To showcase your beautiful country to a wider audience, we need to use terms that are more recognizable, which ultimately helps boost tourism. When we asked your Lhotsampa brothers and sisters in Bhutan if they consider themselves Nepali, they responded, "Nepali Honi," meaning, "I am Nepali."
