When the Lovely Mrs O showed up during the brake job, the smitten Mr O turned into a bumbling idiot! Love it!
I was gonna say the same - he got all flustered in her presence.
I'll 2nd or 3rd that.....lolol...
But can you gentlemen say as that any of you would do any better in her presence? The lady is absolutely gorgeous, but lots of women are gorgeous. There is some kind of something about her that would probably make me blush, stutter and stammer too though and very very few have that whatever it is. Mr.O is a very lucky man. Mrs. O seems to be fairly lucky herself. They compliment each other very well. Not every couple can spend all day every day together.
Lol, tries to put the brake shoes in place without mounting the caliper bracket bolts, then lets the caliper hang by its hose ...yeah he's not distracted 😂

Reality is more like " because you only come in once every 30,000 miles and your used, miss matched tires are shot" LOL

Because I have to pay an obscene amount for health insurance just to turn around and then pay $3500 on top of that for this damn thyroid procedure!

There isn't any way to say this but to say it: If ever two people were meant to be together, it's you two. I swear, if we saw you both back in high school, we'd already know. Please tell each other every day how grateful you are for each other. I know you both already know this, but affirmation makes the bond stronger and stronger. Better a pedestrian sign than a pedestrian. Can I tell one on my late wife? I drove to Ohio to meet her daughter and son in law, and drove 95% of the way back to Sweetwater, TN. I got her through Knoxville and it was a straight shot down I75. I asked her to drive so I could sleep a little before working the next day. She drove for around 20 miles and ran over something that punched big holes in both left tires, and about put a hole through the floorboard. I'm pretty sure i would have got more sleep if I'd just driven on home.
The riffs never cease to amaze me with all the "off the cuff" remarks as Eric works on stuff. The references to everything-- that combined with the obvious knowledge of what he is doing is what makes this so enjoyable.
"The city has its own - - you know." Ambience! So happy for you both that Mrs O was able to have her medical procedure. Mrs R had a lumpectomy procedure on February 14, 2006. Cancer free since then. Thank you, Lord. Wives are wonderful people.

I just found out that one cat treat is the same as one donut to us….my vet got on to me big time so mix some cat food in with a lot less treats. We have raised plenty of strays too and had a malamute dog named Murphy that we miss terribly. Hugs from Columbus ga

@Frank Silvers had 2007 optimist, made 100000 then rod knock. Got a Toyota Matrix with the 2.4, does eat oil but keeps going with 138000 miles. I’ll take oil eaters than rod knockers. If you want proof look for optima’s or sonata’s on Craigslist, any model with the 2.4, those nice looking 2012 up Sportage suv’s are none to be found. I’d say they had a massive failure rate.

I remember when my family took a trip to NYC back in the 80’s, it smelled then too.
I'm always amused by how those pure Aryans ubermensch from upstate love to hate on downstate and NYC. If it wasn't for the metric ass-ton of cash that NYC sends to Albany every year, upstate would look like Alabama, but a lot more frozen. You have no use for downstate? start paying your own way.
I’m out on the west coast and when we travel to the city (San Fran) it also smells, probably the same as New York, but I’m not worried about the smell, I worry about what I might step in that’s causing the smell.
@@MrSloika I think you've got that backwards, lots of the money in NY flows down TO the cesspool that is NYC, not the other way around. I know that many upstate NY'ers would be more than happy to cut downstate off entirely and let it fester in it's own filth and be better off for it.

I feel the same way about Austin,Tx. We live 50 miles north in the Hill Country. People are rude, city smells bad and way to crowded. Where we live, we have one street light and more cattle, goats, sheep and pigs than people. Love It!!

I stopped the video at about 6:15 and put on my coat before going out and adjusting the wife's headlights. The pep talk on taking care of the missus was just what I needed. She said she was having trouble seeing at night, and I had apparently adjusted the beams too low when I replaced the foggy original ones. Thanks for reminding me I needed to take care of her! Oh, and I wish the best for Mrs. O on the thyroid!

I serviced my aunts Santa Fe with that design. Personally I love it. Beats my buddies Volvo which has torx screws everywhere holding it down
My 1999 BMW E39 has this cartridge design too, so it is not that kind of fancy as you might think .......that was already there 22 years ago
That vessel screw driver is a JIS (Japanese industrial standard) screwdriver it fits Japanese screws like Honda and stuff made in Japan. A lot of people think they are a regular screwdriver but they aren’t. Hope u read this!

I spend a lot of time under the hood, not working on it but just checking things and looking around. When your daily driver is 22 years old, weekly fluid checks and checking rubber parts is just part of life. It's a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT Plus 2wd 4.7.
Been in our family since 2005, always carport parked. It was my mom's car 😢 so it will always have a place to park at my house regardless... Thanks Mrs. O for sharing, my cousin has thyroid issues and and taking synthetics. I'm going to let her know about your procedure. I'm from Alabama and I remember Central Park smelled like horse piss, then I found out why 😂 Thank you so much for that information.

Wow the perfect complimentary couple to run the workshop out in that area. We did the same. Fishing village, made a lot of lifelong friends. Finally passed onto someone younger and we went further rural. Had to build the big shed. We are soon to train up our grown boys in the trade. Yep the city is a little busy but find enjoyment then back home to reminese!
