Brave man great stream . Anyone whos lived on Anglesey develops the Anglesey stoop. All of the trees lean over in one direction . Yes it gets windy lol. Thanks John brings back memories of being blown away on the beach at the back of the RAF base trying to catch Ray. 👍👍👍
I've just left a message on the Hookers video so I've just copied and pasted it for you. Hi Rich, terrible weather but if it's like that next time then fish the pens. It's right across from the breakwater and you can drive down there and fish out of the car. They are called the pens because they used to moor the 2 giant tugs there when shell owned it. You might be better off there for congers there anyway as you would be casting out directly towards the slate blocks. There is quite a deep channel there as they dredged it out so the tugs could come and go even at low tide. If you decide to fish it then just follow the road above the harbour on the other side then take a left before the car park at LLam Carw. It would be similar to fishing Dock Bach but with plenty more shelter. No risk of damaging your recording gear and you can fish out of the car and there's plenty of light there too.
My first ever sea fishing trip was at Amlwch breakwater in the 90’s, loads of huge mackerel & pollock good times, I remember seeing a huge dead blue shark upside belly on surface next to one of the fishing boats in the harbour
You are a total mad man John but your channel is always very enjoyable to watch....cant understand why no one was fishing when you got there lol Looks like a superb venue and no blank. All good stuff
Really enjoy watching your videos, I'm in south Devon would love to come visit your nexlck of the woods next year and maybe get out for a sesson o 2 with yourself
Brave session in foul conditions, but, at least now we have a song for you. So, all together folks; Webby had only one Pollock, the other was a Pecker from the dock..........! (And from there you make your own words up) Nice one John...!
Fair play to you John lad and managed to winkle a nice Percy and peckers out in those difficult conditions you deserved them mate. Seems like your little fan club heard you were going to Amlwch tight lines, great viewing.
That was more a flick to the left rather than the right when you first cast the rods out fella 😂,, jst back from 4 nights in Arbroath montrose area on the cod ,, you should try up there and then compare the swells ,, cheers mate 👍🎣
great place in summer john ,not been for years mate, will be in the bay to pick mum up in 2 weeks, will call in rhos see marlon for worms john, take care well done mate.
Hi mate, long time no see…hope you’re doing well, you given up the catties? You a full time TH-camr these days? Definitely a better path with fishing as probably much more viewers than the shooting. Anyway here’s wishing you well and hopefully catch up one day! 👍
You have probably seen it already but if not then check out Tommy Joe's live footage of the storm. You should see how bad it hit Bull Bay and Holyhead and Amlwch breakwater.

Good one John you are not a fine weather fisher man😂😂😂
John the mad Brummie
Really Missing your Hunting Video's GKJ.

John try off sent moelfre good for conger on the right side towards lifeboat station
91mph wind gusts forecast at Holyhead tomorrow morning 🤯
Them benches will be used for bait chopping boards, stink to high heaven by summer months 😂😂
You need a gopro with a remote so that you can just press a button and strike the rods 😂 instead of running to camera then going to rods😂😂
Should have fished in the sea box 69
Off swnt
Can u not drive up the top and walk down anymore
Yes. Down towards the old Octel and turn right past the old windmill, the (sort of) carparks still there but the lane is bumpy
Well done for sticking it out
