When i used to live in Towyn near Abergele North Wales in the 70s, I fished all over the area. Amlwch used to fish well on the outer breakwater, and when we went on the boat, we used to drift across the reef. We always had good catches of conger's off the breakwater, and off the boat, we used to get good size coal fish and pollack. I always thought it fished well because behind the hill where the outer breakwater is there used to be some sort of refinery that pumped hot water out into the sea and this attributed to the good fishing, I might be wrong. Anyhow, seeing the place brought some good memories back, thank you. When I moved back home, fishing was so much slower. I live in Cleveleys now & when I go down to the prom, there are so few fishing, five bar gate used to be my favourite place but again very rarely do I see anyone wetting a line there anymore.
That place looks stunning 👍 Eh your not an old man yet get some waterproofs and maybe a big fishing brolley and get out there in this fantastic british weather we have 😂😂😂
Hi Mr Hooker my name is Ethan and that video was good and the colour on that fish was amazing to see and I hope I could meet you 1 day if that ok with you Mr Hooker
Rich I'd go for a braid leader. i only use braid but I use a 90lb braid leader still good for abrasion and casts well but great for pulling out of snags and I fish a lot of rough ground around whitby. Tight lines rich.
Not been over to Amlwch for a while. Might pop over tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) as the weather is looking ok for a few days. If not Amlwch, then night session at cemlyn or off penrhyn Cemaes As usual theres always something that pops up and delays me!! Great content
Thanks
Thank you 😁😁

It's great 👍
Win or lose it's still fun
Still good video boys even when no big fish on film 😂😮
Nice little harbour, is it small fishing boat friendly for launching and parking up?
Yes pal . But do your homework 😁😁😁
❤
Great video mate, do you have to pay launch fee to launch a sib at the slipway?
Honest answer pal . I don't know. But I'm sure it's only a phone call to find out 😁😁
Lovely place there, but who added the bench? I hope it's bolted down, especially seen as big waves hit that place
TH-camrs,
Awful Angler & Gamekeeper John fished that same spot.
