Turning a Plate

In this video I cover all steps of turning a plate on the wood lathe. I will take a rough 4/4 piece of soft maple to a finished plate by doing the following:
- drilling a recess
- cutting a circle on the bandsaw
- turning the bottom and tenon
- finishing the top
