YOOOO! I got a one-way ticket to Bangkok. I'm leaving March 28th. I'll be traveling all over SE Asia for a while! Finally pursuing the dream. You really inspired me, Christian. I'm documenting all of it with daily(ish) vlogs. I started selling most of my shit haha I just posted that vlog yesterday. I've been planning this for 9 months and now it's all finally happening! Bangkok is amazing, air pollution is a bit much, but the vibe is very cool. Will be there a week beginning April 1st. The rest of my month in Thailand will be on Phuket. Love Thailand.

Now I just want my videos to be like yours ;) I'm also travelling Southeast Asia at the moment (currently in Bali), but I've only ever spent one night in Bangkok and not in the true "one night in Bangkok" way. In a hostel in a suburb. BUT! We're flying out from Bangkok in May and I can see that I definitely have to set aside a couple of days to explore the city :)

Poor Ben. The drinking age is 21 here, and I've been turned away from a bar because they had a minimum age of 23. I've also been denied the sale of alcohol because my ID was a day past expiration. I know how he feels.
I'll give him a laugh. I'm in my mid-40's, and with the graying hair and goatee, it's been so long since someone's checked my ID, that I about had to empty my wallet to find it.

General question to the public. Heading out to Bangkok in 3 weeks and I don't know if it's cheaper to prebook a flight to Phuket or buy it while I'm in Thailand. Also would you recommend going to Chiangmai then to Phuket or the other way around. Thanks

i am thai , be careful about Taxi
taxi has meter, but driver not use meter . more and more taxi not using meter and hunt for a big shot.yesterday at the taxi stand in front of the Siam Paragon, many tourists got into the taxi and drivers asked 'no meter'. the 'lazy' taxi coordinator piss-off the tourist by saying 'taxi has meter, driver has no meter' :- ( saw many angry faces.
How safe is uber/grab in Bangkok? I'm going next month.
@@AnessennaGabriel I'm not reccommand you use that App but Grab n Uber still illigal in BKK. otherwise you've been in trouble with Taxi driver 4 sure so when you call Grab/Uber make sure no taxi driver or motorbike taxi are around you'll be there.enjoy!! 🤔👌👌

Thank you for making this video! Bangkok is also my second home and I just love going there. The park is so beautiful and even though you captured it nicely one has to go there to understand it's true beauty. When I heard the Thai lady talking to you in the park it made me warm as hearing the English with Thai accent is so sweet. Or hearing people speak Thai in the background just made me smile. Seeing Asok intersection, Terminal 21, MBK and so on almost brings tears to my eyes as I miss it so much. Thanks again!

Thailand is one of the most historic countries in Asia pacific. We're kind of random. You can find street lifestyle, middle-class, modern and super luxury life especially in Bangkok, the capital. You will find everything. Our streets don't beauty like Europe because of a different culture, design, style and geography. If you be fair enough and understand the truth of life that all countries have a bright side and a dark side, poor and rich population that brilliant.
