The thingy is just there to hold the figure's leg for the dynamic poses. Running, high kicking, etc. It also has magnets inside of it, so you can have the figure crawling up the fridge or any other metal surfaces.

I've had my eye on this for a while and will likely be ordering one once it is available in Oz (middle to late November)
It is expensive but from what I've read elsewhere and as you have described, it is quite a solid robust figure making it durable, and hence , attracting the price.
I am a art hobbyist and will be using it as you described for action poses as a reference tool. It certainly isn't a toy. It's just a pity it measures under 6 inches (for the 5' 3" female). I have a couple of well detailed 7 inch figures which I also use for action poses, more for their costumes (eg Lt Ripley in her space suit) and just the extra one inch makes a considerable difference - well for me anyway. I realise there are a number of 7 inch and larger poseable (nude) figures on the market, but this item by 1000 Toys seems to be, according to reveiws, the best for poseability and robustness.

Thanks for watching! Just an FYI, the hands are so small and can be just a tad of a challenge handling them to change out, but they come off really easy.

@@Avionyx Anytime yours was almost the only video on this so im glad i could show some support. I think the one you had would be fine as a comparison because this new (femlae) one was supposed to have new joints compared to the previous male versions. Just a suggetion but either way i enjoyed the video man keep up the good work.
Thanks! I forgot to mention in the video but my only gripe about the female fig is that it doesn't have butterfly joints like the male fig ☹
@@Avionyx Really ? Well thx for that. I have it on preorder and you really helped me decide on if i want it or not. You should look into sticky bones figures. They're for artist/animators but they're pretty interesting as that can make literally any pose.

I don't even touch mines since I wrapped it up in bubble wrap tucked in the closet lol. It's a great piece I'm getting one more and the clear human too. These are goin to be highly collectibles and $$$
Yeah I've played around with her several times and now she's in the tub with all the other random figures haha... but once we move into the new house, everything will be up on display.
The extra I'm goin to be displaying it. That stand it comes with is there anything more to it than a stand??? Looks like it does something? ?

where did you get the weapons and katanas for the figure?
That machete looking weapon is from the G.I. Joe Classified Snake Eyes Origins Baroness figure I believe. The katanas belong to one of my Marvel Legends Deadpool figures.
Do they also have a female in 1/6 Scale ?
