ThousandToys are the kings of 1/12 articulation. The synthetic male would make a great custom body, except that the sculpt & design are too beautiful to cover up with softgoods. Wish they did a plain “vanilla” body.
I have two of the synthetic human back at 5 points for 65 bucks each. I love the way it poses. Incredible articulation (spidey). I definitely have to get this one.
Got this amazing figure in the mail a little over a week ago. Compared to female Legends the articulation is absolutely unmatched. The only gripe I have is the difficulty of balancing on one foot, but that’s a very minor gripe.
Do you know if you can put the hair to the male one?, It looks really cool and as ypu said it gives a different vibe, been thinking on getting the female version instead of the male one just because of that. Btw good video, I like the background!
I bought both the male and female, the female cant move her neck as much as the male does. what disappoints me the most is the female shoulders... she can't shrug, or move her shoulder blades forward and backwards, due to missing a few joints in design.
They're gorgeous figures, but I can't embrace their pricing. The cost on the males keeps going up with each reissue, and the female, with minimal pack ins, is even more expensive yet. That's not how action figures work, if you're charging this much for a figure, pack in SOMETHING. Minimal hands, a couple faces is just not acceptable, I don't care how nice the construction is. And come on, boobs? Yes, I'm sure we all needed swappable robot toy boobs, because we just reject off hand fixed bosom action figures, right? Especially as we're seeing more companies releasing basic bodies with articulation very similar, the same quality materials, and about the same number of accessories, for 1/3 of the cost. And while the design is cool, it's not THAT far out the box to justify that price tag. At roughly half the cost, I'd be all over these.

It scales almost perfectly in the middle of a bunch of lines, the materials used are top notch so the articulation is right bit not scary and the body feels solid as hell. Excellent range of motion too. Retails between 25 and 30 bucks per figure, available on BBTS for basically the most money, but in stock and already stateside. D Amazing reviewed the body also, check that out. I don't have any personal experience with the Mix Max figures, but folks I respect do and if it it at the number 2 position. Again, very good quality, great range of motion, very good scaling, the only thing holding them back is, they're kind of targeted at Mezco One 12 customizers so do not come with heads. There are reviews on TH-cam, retail price on Ebay hovers about $25 per figure. Number three is out DamToys Pocket Elite line. They run between 25 and 40 bucks a pop depending on which variation you choose, but there are a lot of design aesthetics to choose from. They have very good range of motion, and solid feeling joints, including magnetic feet, buy the overall quality is definitely a step down. Also, Pocket Elite is a smelter body type, suitable for teens and sidekicks, but he's going to look tiny next to a Marvel Legend or Mythic Legions. He's slightly smaller than a Synthetic Human. D Amazing reviewed the Pocket Elite Testman if you want to check that out. The Titan by Maven Collectibles is not without its baggage, but it's a workable blank body type. Hitting between 40 and 60 bucks per, he sits come with a cubic assload of interchangeable heads, hair, hands and weapons, more than any other line in talking about here, and he's the only one who's huge, like Hulk sized. That said, the articulation needs a lot of work to be tight enough for dynamic postings, or he'll need some kind of figure stand. There are reviews by D Amazing and others, including myself on TH-cam. There were some naysayers who thought the figure complete shit, those people are lazy or not competent cuztomizers, but the no doubt he'll require work to be in same quality category as any other line, but the scale and the pack in options make him too good to entirely dismiss. Figma makes a blank body called the Archetype in both male and female options. Scale is small for US 1:12, but not useless, a d range of motion is decent but not amazing. Pack ins include a few weapons, a decent load of hands, and that's it. Archetype from a restaurant dealer should go around 30 bucks. In the category also, Figuarts makes the Body Kun and Body Chan blanks, same kinds of accessories, same overall quality, same diminutive scale, roughly that price tag... but both of these lines have been absolutely devastated by cheap Chinese knockoffs of middling to negligee quality for as little as 10 bucks a pop, as much as 102 bucks a pop on Amazon. Buyer beware! The real products are good for their cost, but do your damned research before buying! Even the knock offs, some are quite good for the cost... some a cold white cat turds.
