That trunk really is spacious! I’m the proud owner of a ‘64 1/2 Mustang. Without a doubt the best car I’ve ever had. Nothing but good times with it! Best car ever manufactured in my opinion.

I was 7 years old when the Mustang was introduced. I was absolutely wild over them. The Mustang is responsible for my spending 45 years in the automobile business.

My Dad’s friend bought a new, red Mustang in ‘64. I remember just looking
at it through an open window and wanting one so badly! No American
car since has generated that level of excitement.

There were many beautiful cars Ford made throughout the 60’s compact and full-size, might end up getting a ‘66 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door hardtop sometime this spring.

I’m 21yrs old and spent all of 2019 saving up 15k to buy a ‘65 mustang at 20 years old. Don’t regret it for a second…except it’s in the shop a lot, for now 😉

FOB Detroit (From On Board). I remember those days. We had family and friends from out of state that would drive up once a year to buy a new car and save the destination charges. 'Factory direct pricing'. Not any more.

Wish they would bring that design back and let people buy them at the price that it was back then. cars today are out of this world prized to dam high, along with the full coverage which is so so high. i can't afford either one. insurance company's are rip off's.

Yea if you made $50,000 a year in those days and had foresight you’d be a millionaire today. You could have easily bought 2 a year cash price. Then in 1970 buy a couple 1970’ Superbirds woooohoooo! It would be over with. The superbirds in showroom new nothing miles condition would bring half a mil then the 4’ showroom new Mustangs could bring 400K easy. Only problem is 1 million dollars ain’t what it used to be but I can handle that kind of problem

In the ad before the world's fair ad, that Mustang was a prototype because if you notice, it doesn't have the bars in the grille, plus it has a cougar instead of the horse galloping in the center, & with the whitewall tires, that's why the price was $2390, but that was the prototype not the production car, even the emblem is different food

Oh boy, bet you would love working for 75 cent a hour, Up before 5 am, bed at dark and town once a week, worked 12 hours a day. Now get back to dreamland about our lucky Old days, outside bathrooms, bath once a week, used clothes if you lucky, when 2 dollars would be your savings for the week, Now go buy a new 2000 dollar car at 35.00 payments and see what car you could buy at 75 cent a hour. Now 75 cents was good pay if your single and no house or others bills. 3 cent raise was a big deal, remember the good old days and find us all working our ass off even today,
