Timbaland really disappointed me when he stopped doing music with Ginuwine, yet he gave his all to Justin 😒. I feel like Timbaland can be petty at times or hold grudges for small pointless reasons. His work with Keri , Ginuwine and etc was magic but he really lost respect from me when he tried to take Static’s credits with Aaliyah. Like cmon now. Stop. Nobody is taking statics pen or magic away from him dead or alive. Ginuwine will forever have classics .

The thing that gets me the most is when ppl talk about artist deserving their flowers or changing the culture like they do other artist, ppl never bring up Ginuwine and that's a problem. Elgin, is an entertainer and his stage presents can not be denied. He is still going strong to this day. He'll always be my fave solo male artist.

Before Ginuwine was known as a singer...he was a male exotic dancer at a club in the Washington DC area during the early 90's...the Mother of my sister's best friend used to be a regular customer and even brought my Mother to the club a few times ...they saw Women used to go crazy and most of these women had government and private industry jobs that made good money...he maintained a residence in Maryland either in Prince George's or Montgomery County for a while to be near his parents until they passed away...I remember when he married Sole'...unfortunately, they split up and she got married to ...Professor Griff?!?...formerly of Public Enemy who is also martial arts instructor and personal fitness trainer when he dosen't do speaking engagements or music...he also worked in security for other celebrities meanwhile after the early 2000's...Timbaland gave elements of Ginuwine's trademark sound away ...most notably to Justin Timberlake!

Both Devante and Dalvin are the "De" in Jodeci. It comes from their last name, DeGrate. And Devante looked out for himself, not his artists. He had an ear for talent but his business practices were sketchy as best.

Think this was around the same time him & Missy were nearly growing apart following the release of Missy's latest full album "The Cookbook" (2005), along with Tim blowin' up all over again when he linked with Justin Timberlake for his "LoveSounds" (2006) album.
