That's exactly how I been doing mine now that we talked about it. I found a distributor that is willing to sale me 8/0 for .10 each...so I can make heat shrink hooks for .14 each tops
There's only one correct way to tie a circle hook through the back of the eye rap down been back through the front of the eye that way when the fish pools the hook sets into the fish who has done the other way the hook would pull out of the fish use your hands and demonstrated as being a fish's mouth and you'll understand there's lots of videos on this on TH-cam that will help teach you tight lines
Every video I've watched and how i tie is the line goes from the front to the back so the line pulls at the top of the eye and pull the hook into the corner of the mouth
You go in through the back of the eye rap down the shaft back up the shaft through the front of the I sit down any other way you tie a circle hook it will cause the hook to pull out of the fish's mouth there are hundreds old top of hundreds videos on how to do this correctly I have step-by-step instructional guides on how to tie this hook correctly giving you demonstrations on why and why not to type correctly feel free to go look at those videos and you can see with your own eyes but at the end of the day you tie your hooks the way you want I tie my hooks the way I want I never lose a fish due to the hook not setting TH-cam videos to prove it tight lines and blessed day
Thank you to all.for the support

Nice! Congrats on 500
Thank you
Thanks for the tip man
Any time my friend
What size heat shrink are you using?
I get the smallest I can find a Harbor Freight
I think you put that line in the wrong way through the eye. The line should pull the hook back when tension is applied.
