- I did it again! I decided to turn on the cameras and livestream a regular old beat making session in my new home studio. It became good enough for me tor edit the stream like this and post it here.
I wasn't really feeling this track as I made it but it's really grown on the over the past few days. It feels like I had a great start in the new setup!

Man, I'd turn this way up in a car if this beat came on! The sampled material, what You did with it works so well with fx synth stabs, it's all so glued together. I love the MPC workflow, the cuts and scratches in the end - cherry!

I’m not really in your musical culture world… but I’m fascinated by sample based productions.. so it’s super cool to kinda watch you doing it ESPECIALLY cause it just feels like you’re so good at it.. to me.
That Michael Omartian LP is dope. I have flipped it a few times. Also check out his White Horse LP. He went on to produce all the Rhythm Heritage LPs which have tons of classic BBoy samples on them.

That sequence @ 3:54 was my choice to Rock The Party. That was the Saturday Night Vibe. The end result was dope too but 3:54 was A Banger. On second thought, actually 3:54 can be the chorus to the final beat.
Yeah, I kinda agree. The main difference between the two is the pitch of the sample. The one you like it at a much higher pitch. I’m afraid it could be fatiguing to use it like that for the entire track but… Maybe you’re right :)

I wasn't feeling it until you took out the main sample, created a new pattern, and started scratching. Don't you think it's interesting how you can work on something for a while, and then at a certain moment, the pieces just start to fit together?
