My beatmaking superpower!

Another beat making session in the home studio on the MPC Key 37 with the latest beta version of the software.
I just wanted to chop up a sample, add some drums, a few instruments and make something cool out of it... Just my favourite thing to do.
This session was almost 5 hours long, including a lot of small talk with the live chat. This sample was giving me a really hard time for some reason but the result that came of that struggle is something I'm pretty proud of at the end of the day.
I realised that it's all about the mindset and when I really decide to not give up on an idea and push through - I usually come out winning. That's an awesome feeling.
We're doing this every other week on this channel now - Beat making Livestreams. The ones that ends up somewhat decent will be edited and posted as more consumer friendly videos but the entire session is available in its entirety under "live" too.

I prefer the MPC X SE and I'm waiting for one to arrive. The Key 37 is close second though :D

@ken2.0 i mean you realize you can utilize hardware even if you work a daw? thats the ultimate setup. best of both worlds. I play live instruments, full sized midi piano and synths but i still use a DAW as my "brains".
