The fact that the Messmer Soldier Spear’s R2 rollcatches out of storm caller is terrifying. Imagine the damage if you had Mills’s Prothesis, Rotten Wing Insignia, Enraged Beast, Lightning Cracked Tear, and the Thorny Cracked Tear. I doubt even a max vigor bullgoat could survive that. Oh and how could I forget Shard of Alexander!
I like it too because it's a 50/50. If they roll, they could get caught. If they don't and try to wait out the R2, then you could hit them with the 2nd part of Stormcaller. Good stuff!

I honestly think the whole "innocent host" things is massively overstated. Invaders spend the majority of their time in the worlds of awful hosts. No sympathy ever for gankers.

I’ve always thought Stormcaller as a good utility ash that does what it’s supposed to do but a bit boring due to its perceived lack of combo potential. So so happy to be proven wrong. Messmer’s Soldier spear is my fav weapons from the DLC. I have it on pretty much all of my builds. I love it on my poised up Strength + tiny bit of Int build with Glintblade Phalanx AoW (yes it was nerfed but it’s still alright) with Unseen Blade. The pressure and occasional (pseudo?) frame trap from the Glintblades and the fact that ppl literally can’t see the reach of the spear throws ppl off a lot, letting me hit them with fully charged R2 double hit.
Messmer’s Soldier Spear is just my favorite weapon right now, I think. Like you, I have it on almost all my builds, it just can do so much stuff. I love it. Also, Stormcaller on that weapon is INSANE.

Hey I have a question about your last build. How do you deal with the 25 endurance when invading? Especially when using the fire knights greatsword? It feels like I can only swing the thing 3 times before I’m out of stamina. Did you switch talismans ?
I honestly don’t feel it as a problem. I had build with less Endurance. Elden Ring is super forgiving when it comes to stamina usage of attacks and skills.
Why the hell did it take me seeing this video to realize the combo of the tornado with stormblade? I'm...i'm actually angry at myself for not realizing it.
That was cool. One question. Can you make a Video with a Shaman Charakter? It Is a mage with the Skill to cast the elemental Like fire and Wind, but in Most Video Game they can Transform into a enimal Like a bear or a Wolf. I have create one, but I will See how you make a build Like this.
