Also, believe me or not, but between 2010 and 2014 when I was doing that every summer, the heat was killing me in my house, and I was blasting this song in my room almost like a prayer for the rain to come (without being aware of the meteo for the next day at all). I was right there with you. I'm 50 now and these boys have been my die-hard #1 band since 1996, 1997ish, long before they were sobig and well-known. And this song just punches you in the face, pulls back to let you rub your jaw to recover after the blow, then rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat until the end.
I have seen them live somewhere around *297,904 times and this song in particular gets the crowd into a state of complete insanity!
*obviously that number is a joke, but I will add that my first time seeing them, even before opening for Korn many times, was them playing in the daytime on a small open grass field in Tempe, bright sunshine, where now stands some huge Chase bank or something (Mill and University) when they were so unknown. I definitely enjoyed it but I wish I had truly known how rare a treasure that would be. Chino kept doing this hand-chopping-his-chest move that I never saw since that day.

This is the song that did it for me. I remember I was killing time at the Virgin Megastore in SF at Union Square and I saw this album in a listening station in the new releases. My girlfriend at the time was taking forever and even though my first thought was “isn’t this one of those shifty nu-metal bands?” (I was big into Bay Area thrash and punk). The second this song started I was so deeply hooked. The riffs and the mood this whole album set was amazing. That opening riff still instantly takes me back to that time.
