I've been in the band for a number of dance presentations. It's a matter of culling out those who are not 100% committed. The quality jumps immediately.
Great that the choreographer managed to stay so "Fosse." It would be tempting to go wild and showcase all of the dancers' phenomenal expertise. . .but they nailed just right.
I mean they def are still showing the dancers phenomenal expertise, like damn they are so talented to make all that look so smooth and effortless, they have *spectacular* control of their bodies
I am so blessed that my time of earth coincided with Mr Fosse's. I was able to witness his brilliance in real time. Future generations will do so in retrospect.
Finally a Fosse tribute that gets it! Most of the previous ones failed even the tributes by people that knew Fosse. This is pure skill and dance talent! Brava!!! This is the love of dance!
Can we give massive kudos to the different body shapes represented here? At such a high level as well! Each of them equally talented and so beautiful to watch.
Yup. That explains it. The Rockettes, the one show designed for uniformity, has gone communist, with the diversity agenda. Broadway will continue to die under it.
Michael Fitzgerald There wasn’t one ‘fat’ chick anywhere to be seen in this video buddy, I’d suggest breaking social distancing & getting your eyes examined. No kudos for dickheads either.
I watch this with the loving memories of Bob Fosse and Ann Reinking and Gwen Verdon! And I agree about ALL body types! Bravo ladies! May your extensions never flounder or give you pain- hey, to those who've never tried it- you sweep your leg up alongside your ear, effortlessly! I love classical ballet but I gotta bow to Fred Astaire, Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham and these ladies- Bob put it all together- miss him!
I loved taking the train in and going to see them perform for Christmas at Rockefeller plaza every year growing up. They truly are some of the best dancers in the world. Absolute perfection live, recorded and in rehearsal.
I have lived on long Island my whole life. Taking the train into the city to go to Broadway shows was like a once every few months thing, i have seen this show live three times. I was in musical theater since elementary school. I STILL have no idea what a "whoopie spot" is. Been driving me nuts for all of my 35 years lol
When one hears conversations from dancers with international experience they have a lot of admiration and respect for the dancers on Broadway which they refer to as the all around American Dancer.
OMG I got so excited when I recognized Natalie Reid in the center. It's so so cool to see that one of my favorite SYTYCD dancers is still dancing so beautifully. She's still so eye-catching just like the first time I saw her on TV. This is such a good tribute. My heart is in tears.
Oh YEAH... Them ROCKETTES! Their name has always said it all... They ROCK when they DANCE! I can watch them ALL DAY, EVERYDAY and Never get Tired! NYC🩰
U know what blows my mind how youtube work! I mean idk understand how come the freaking “New York Rockettes” only have 127 thousand sub. But I’ve always heard of ppl having to travel to NYC to see the amazing years Rockettes preform
Well this was a marvel! I had never seen the Rockettes do anything but kick line dance! They elevated this song to a new level! Such perfection and control !
Omfg omfg omfg omfg omfg omfg omfg i am CRYING I was in Chicago the fall of 2019, it was one of the best experiences ever, and I miss it so, so much. The soundtrack, the dancing, and the plot will forever be a part of me 😭💖🕺
Loved the Rockets "All That Jazz" ! I am so eager to take my grandchildren to another fabulous Rockettes Christmas Show--hopefully in 2021! Amazing dancers! Thank you for sharing.
Did a tour of radio city behind the scenes then watched the Rockettes live about two years ago. I am told the Christmas Show is outstanding. Would like to see that soon.
oh my god the RED HEAD in the middle center is Natalie Reid from So you think you can dance from a few years ago! wow that's awesome she's a Rockette now! her dance ability was always amazing!
their control with everything is unbelievable. it’s hard to find so many well rounded dancers
Have you seen the rockettes audition? They have to be amazing dancers.
It’s not really that hard, hundreds of women come to audition so they just have to pick the best.
chevon1920 it must be hard to choose from all the phenomenal people that must audition though
Well rounded!

Love, love, love my Jazz!!! First dance after Ballet!!! Rock on Fosse!!!
Agreed. Now that's talent. Practice makes perfect. Don't you 4 get that.

Have to disagree. They missed the mark stylistically.

The synchronicity is amazing. Every muscle is working. These gals are phenomenal.
Anyone who visits NYC...and doesn't go see whatever the Rockettes are performing at that time, has wasted a lifetime memory.
Only negative thing about this routine is its only 1:34 long! Loved it!
Поддерживаю. Почему так коротко?!!!
I could of handled another 10 minutes! Or a whole show. Never been. Maybe it is time.
That lighting, shadows, and camera movement! Perfect for the routine. Wow!
I loved taking the train in and going to see them perform for Christmas at Rockefeller plaza every year growing up. They truly are some of the best dancers in the world. Absolute perfection live, recorded and in rehearsal.
Great choreography fantasy and pure realisation! Top of the line! Beauty and power! Bravissimo!❤
I think it’s great to see them do different types of genres, than their usual Christmas stuff. Great job on the Fosse tribute.
That moment when you can’t dance but you recognize all the moves

Rockettes have always been the best of the best.
When one hears conversations from dancers with international experience they have a lot of admiration and respect for the dancers on Broadway which they refer to as the all around American Dancer.
Love it! Loved the movie with Roy Scheider in all that jazz! Because I love to dance! And what a great movie!

The absolutely fabulous Rockettes…I could watch them all day. So precise, perfect and elegant always.,❤️
I wish this were longer.... It was so wonderful!
Oh YEAH... Them ROCKETTES! Their name has always said it all... They ROCK when they DANCE! I can watch them ALL DAY, EVERYDAY and Never get Tired! NYC🩰
Looove these vids which are just 1 wide shot so you can *see* the amazing dancers and choreography without editing and CUs!
U know what blows my mind how youtube work! I mean idk understand how come the freaking “New York Rockettes” only have 127 thousand sub. But I’ve always heard of ppl having to travel to NYC to see the amazing years Rockettes preform
This is a different dance video. What a great performance. Much love.
Well this was a marvel! I had never seen the Rockettes do anything but kick line dance! They elevated this song to a new level! Such perfection and control !
Such amazing dancers! The real spirit of New York!
Love how simple and clean it looks but yet it’s super hard to do
Wow! This is great, and i’m a big Fosse fan since I was a kid. They did him justice. Now if they would do that as a whole show, that would be great!
Just wished Liza could’ve danced along with them. Hearing her rendition here is half the thrill.
Fabulous! I can literally feel their effort to not walk turned out! LOL! So good to see trained dancers do other genres! Brava!
Love the different body types! I remember they used to have to be a certain height and body types. Kudos to the crew!
Ale VeHrz You still have to be 5’6 to join the rockettes but I agree
Over the years it became a range, and the range got bigger. Kudos to them
You still must be between 5’6” and 5’10” to be a Rockette. That’s never changed. You must have 10 years of dance, so many in jazz.
What a great tribute to Fosse and especially to his muse Ann Reinking. RIP to both.
umm. THAT WAS AMAZING! i need more of this

Beautifully done and certainly a day-brightener in this difficult isolating times. Love the Rockettes.
That is fantastic, Radio City Rockettes.
I’d like to see them do Big Spender from the movie Sweet Charity
Right at the start, that's what I was thinking of, when they were lined up.

This is the best version to Sound of Silence I’ve ever heard.

Brilliant !
Yes girls you did your thing as always !!! I wished it was longer!! You Fosse was good!!
OMG....brought tears to my eyes.
Fosse truly changed the face of Broadway dancing. Interesting that he never worked directly with the Rockettes. Great to see this.
Awesome performances
Mesmerizing!!!
I loved this, I still do!
Fosseys the greatest teacher for dance. He taught me alot
gorgeous!!
Wow, that was amazing! 💯
Beautiful routine!
Rockettes + Fosse = Fabulous!
Amazing as always
Not my childhood's Rockettes. Nicely done!
that was amazingly good thank you very much
So cool to see some of the choreography from cabaret come through!!!
I'm not sure how Fosse it is, but it's good. I think it's great that others are now at such a high level that the Rockettes are trying to keep up.
The moment where you can’t dance to every move and recognize them right away. It’s unbelievable
fosse loved levels - what an opposite world of fun!
This is NOT community theatre! you might have started there, but look at how far you've come!!!
Wish it were the whole song and not such a brief cut. Love Fosse & Rockettes!❤️
This takes me back from when I went to dancing school our dance teacher was a rockette in the 60s, she was our Aunt Terry.
This is fantastic.
I know I sure never searched this video but here I am watching it
Beautifully done!!!
Perfect Harmony. Appreciate Babes
