I hated the realization that they're very one-dimensional, you can hear it in this demo too: All the reverbs sound nice, but it's like they're coming from an amp in front of you and not the space around you. That's obviously not an issue if you're going to play them through an amp anyway, but it is if you want to record direct.

Which reverb do you like using?

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios i like the particle verb a loooooot and the 63 spring reverb has become my initial fav. I used to have a fender twin reverb and it reminds me a lot of it. I love it man!!

I am really interested in buying the HX effects to plug it in front of a clean Fender HRD (my go-to amp for clean tone, that I use at least 50% of the time). My big concern is: does the Helix HX changes the basic tone of the amp when bypassed? Or should I use a buffer, specific settings, change the amp EQ etc?

I used to have all the M Series pedals and the HX Effects changes the tone very little comparatively. Just hook it up and rock out. Very easy

I've swapped back and forth and can't tell into a Deluxe Reverb.

You would need a 1/4” adaptor but it would work just fine.

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios what is a 1/4 adapter, the thing is that i want to plug it to my loopstation and then do beats with my mouth and stuff, wanted it as a second kind of device for more sounds

Im sure it will just be careful of your gain and volume levels and dont point your mic at a speaker. Maybe if u have a mixer plug it into ur mixer and use the hx effects in the insert or effects send return that way you hit a mic pre amp first
