mate i can speak on behalf of all emergency vehicle filmers here, we want to wave back, trust me we do, but it'll stuff up our video and then it's just almost 'what's the point of filming' if it's gonna be bad

Yeah. I waved at 713B once leaving 711 Station and they thought I was signalling to them. Try and wave or nod if possible but know that we appreciate emergency service personnel even if we don't wave at the time. And yes need more film in CQ and NQ etc.

All QLD RFS Tankers and Comm's units and any other support vehicles MUST respond CODE 30 (no lights or serins) and all Fire Attack Appliances (41, 51, 52) can respond with lights and sirens, BUT must obey all traffic laws including speed limits, stopping at red traffic lights and not proceeding untill the lights go green.
I certainly disargee with the policy and I believe its the only state/territory with such a stupid poliicy, plz correct me if I'm wrong.
Its very stressful and upsetting having to sit in heavy traffic waiting for a light to change to green, knowing someones house or livelihood burns away. 🚒
