It wasn't water, but you reminded me to take a sip of tea, so thank you!

In the US, I think a lot of people decorate the day after Thanksgiving, which was the 23rd this year. But I started early and we decorated on the 19th 😂. Good luck, hope that you’re able to manage things without having a meltdown this holiday season!

Ahhh right, I always forget about Thanksgiving, hahah. Oh and I mean … decorating early means more time to enjoy everything - so I think that’s great! 👀🎅🏼 Thank you so much! 💖

Im in the Netherlands, I think after Sint Maartin is valid to put fairy lights and I just decorated for Christmas yesterday, I'm autistic to and my arbitrary rule is if it's past the 21st November, I can start decorating.
I also think that if you're feeling bothered by your sleeping cycle telling your therapist about it is a good idea because they can maybe refer you to the psychiatrist and get you some meds to help you.
I think the health system must be similar here and in Germany in terms of what Autistic people can ask from it.
I hope to see the reading journal set up, I would maybe take the time to also do it. 😊

I'm from the Netherlands and I decorate for Christmas after St Niklas, I used to decorate for St Niklas after the arrival of the boat mid November, but my son is 25 now.

I don’t know why, but for some reason I love to learn about other peoples decorating habits, hahah … I think my mom always said for us it’s okay to decorate after “Totensonntag” which is kind of an evangelical memorial day for the death here in Germany. This year that was on November 26th, so I guess I’m good to go now. I think I’ll try to start doing it on December 1st from now on though … I just love setting fixed dates for things like that. 👀
And thank you so much for your advice again! 💖

@@hellysjournal I never heard of that one. I'm gonna ask my husband. He knows a lot about old European celebrations.
